Everything was really nice. We spend a lovely time during this week. The Highland Club is a lovely place to stay because of the pool, the gym, the snooker and the park... Inverness, the Glenfinnan and even the applecross pass are not very far away...

Great location to see the Highlands
My sister and I stayed in #10 for a week while we toured various areas in the Highlands. The town is lovely and easy to reach via a short walk. Luis was very helpful in getting us situated in our cottage and showing us the charm of Highland Club. We toured the area by day and enjoyed quiet evenings 'at home" in front of the fire - a peaceful and relaxing visit!

Lovely stay in Fort Augustus
We enjoyed our stay very much. House was clean and comfortable, although a measuring jug and working tin opener would have been helpful!
The facilities were good but hard to get a game of snooker as often busy. Having to book swimming in advance is understandable but meant we missed one slot due to a longer walk than planned.

We loved the relaxing lovely setting. The ability to hang out and have time with friends in a nice home and places to walk about was wonderful. We did find it challenging to shower daily with 4 adults when the only shower was in a bathroom off a private bedroom. It would be helpful to put a shower in the downstairs bathroom for all to use. Even if it is just a modified faucet with a hanging shower hose. Thank you for letting us stay in such a wonderful spot.

It was great!
We loved the cottage. Really quiet and peaceful place. A short walk to the loch and the touristic spot. A supermarket and coffee places on walking distance. Good swimming pool for our kids (5-6). Just a good place to stay!
Cottage 10 is exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and clean. Great location. The Abbey grounds are beautiful; walk into town is very nice. And the walk from the Abbey along the South Loch Ness Trial is wonderful! Also, great location for day trips west to Isle of Skye and north to Inverness and beyond.
Whole process excellent property as advertised Loch Ness is beautiful

Awesome!
My husband, teenage daughter and myself were broken hearted to leave Dalwhinnie Cottage after our 7 night stay. The accommodation was excellent, really comfortable and suited all our needs! The Highland Club and its central location to the village of Fort Augustus and the Caledonian Canal was just perfect for us - apart from a couple of daytrips to Fort William and Inverness - the car hardly moved as there was so much to do at this location. We also received a very warm welcome from Charles and found the other staff very friendly and helpful. We really can't wait to return back to Highland Club!

Beautiful Location
We were very pleased to find this location for our holiday. We were even more pleased when we arrived and found it was exactly as advertised. The Dalwhinnie Cottage is presented very well. The Abbey it self is beautifully presented. The grounds well kept and very pleasant.
Will be recommending to both family and friends.

Our cottages are located in the grounds of The Highland Club and are within meters of all the sports facilities. The added bonus of the cottages is they have a private terrace. Beautiful place in a beautiful setting. A short walk from all the amenaties. Fort Augustus is a must visit. Our cottage was lovely and very clean. I downgraded slightly on condition as in a few areas inside the paint was coming away from walls. Also it stated it had a wii console, but we could not find it and it stated it had a tv in the bedroom which it did but it had no aerial so could only watch dvd's. would definitely visit again and would recommend highland club to everyone.

spacious accommodation
Accommodation was spacious, comfortable and well equipped although the kitchen lacked sufficient work surfaces. A shower in the family bathroom would be beneficial. At present, the property is most suited to a family with small children. We had our teenage son with us so were all having to use the ensuite shower.

Built in 1876, The Benedictine Abbey that's now home to The Highland Club is one of the oldest buildings in Fort Augustus and one of the most stunning buildings around Loch Ness. For many years, Benedictine Monks ran the Abbey as a school. There are many recorded sightings of the Loch Ness Monster by the Monks over the years whilst they stayed there.
