Our property has been looked after by ourselves for the last six years and we leave nothing to chance, we maintain, clean and service the whole apartment ourselves so you can be assured of a high standard of cleanliness and functionality. The perfect place sitting nestled in the hill side, fully south facing, you can relax on your vast private terrace look at the Mediterranean sea and soak up the Andalusian sun. This Spanish countryside apartment strikes the right balance between traditional style and modern day comforts, spacious and comfortable accommodation with attention to detail. La Quinta is protected by a modern whole house water filtration system and we also provide a filter jug in the kitchen; feel the difference showering in water free from chlorine and chemicals. Absolutely no need to buy water for drinking. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need to prepare delicious food: a Chefs delight! Also includes dishwasher, washing machine and a full range of kitchen equipment and utensils. Modern Air conditioning featuring heat and cooling has been installed in each bedroom and the living room for your comfort. 2 bedrooms, a full double bedroom with doors opening out onto the alfresco dining area and views over the valley to the ocean. The adjoining bathroom features a double walk in shower and large heated mirror. Bedroom two is a twin bedroom featuring a en Suite bathroom with full bath, separate shower cubicle and twin sinks. The large sitting room features TV and WiFi with a Fire TV stick featuring Netflix and Amazon Prime for you to log into your own accounts should you wish. Three sofas and cushions for your family to lounge on, one of which becomes another double bed for guests with six people. You can find in the sitting room a variety of reference and reading books for you to enjoy throughout your stay, there is also a wine rack with a few bottles of wine should you run out at anytime; all that we ask is that you replace what you take. The terrace and alfresco area lead to your own private secluded swimming pool where you can relax and take in the peace and tranquility of La Quinta. The apartment is in the lower part of a country house built in a traditional rural style in 1995. We have invested in new driveways inside and outside of the property, so you can enjoy easy access to and from La Quinta. Our Property is set in beautiful countryside in its own manicured grounds and is surrounded by olive groves and citrus trees, we also have been building a new garden at the lower portion of La Quinta and guests are welcome to take a walk around it and enjoy an early evening cocktail. The apartment captures the best of the Spanish climate and amenities. The backdrop to the apartment is of the mountains of the Parque Natural Sierra Tejedas, Almijara y Alhama and the stunning views to the front are of the surrounding countryside and down to the sea. The property is reached down our new concrete exterior drive from the tarmac road and is accessible for taxis as well as cars. There is parking available for 2 cars. The covered terrace allows for al fresco eating and this leads to a large open terrace with a gas BBQ for your convenience. The apartment is completely self contained. There are a couple of pet cats living on the property but you will probably not see them. The white village of Frigiliana, which is said to be one of the most beautiful in Andalucía is 2km away. Frigiliana has many restaurants and shops as well as banks and a local bus can take you from there to the coastal town of Nerja about 8km further on. Nerja is a popular town, which still retains its original charm although sympathetically developed over the years. Nerja has many restaurants, shops and supermarkets (one is on the way to it from Frigiliana) and is famous for its Balcon de Europa jutting out into the sea, its caves and its various beaches. The Sierras of Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park which borders the rear of the apartment is renowned for its walking trails and you will find companies in Frigiliana and Nerja which cater for walkers, horse riders, cyclists and other adventure activities. The apartment is also ideally situated as a centre for exploring other areas of Andalucía, being under an hour from Malaga, 1 hour from Granada, 2 1/2 hours from Cordoba, 2 3/4 hours from Seville and 1 1/2 hours from the Alpujarras.
