About this property

Casa Limón is a country house with stunning views of the Mediterranean and mountains, set within secure privacy. The large, mature, sub-tropical garden features a lovely pool, shaded areas and benefits from being all on one level with ample parking, gas bbq and table tennis table.

The house was built to the exacting standards of the interior designer owner and served as a family home for a number of years. Two log burners and high spec insulation ensure a warm and comfortable stay in winter and the latest air-con throughout ensures interior temperatures remain cool in the summer months. The property is a short drive to the beach, shops, activities and a full and wide variety of bars and restaurants.

The three bedrooms (two doubles, one twin) are all ensuite and the house is furnished to a high and tasteful standard. The kitchen is fully equipped with American fridge/freezer, 5 burner gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and oven, with a separate laundry and abundant drying areas.

The main living room is large and spacious (10 x 5m) with floor to ceiling glazing, maintaining the panorama from within. Equipped with comfortable sofas and ample dining space this area leads out to a low-level balcony and steps down to the garden and its alfresco dining area adjacent to the pool.

For winter and summer bookings the location is a perfect base to visit the many activities and cultural attractions available all year. La Herradura town is just a 7 minute drive away, the beach approximately 5. Access to the house is via an asphalted country lane, typical of the region, that meanders through tropical fruit plantations. There are drops in a few places but the road is asphalted to the door.

Casa Limón is without doubt close to everything and away from it all, combining the very best of Mediterranean living with a rustic countryside setting, close proximity to the beach and the sea, and the varied bars, restaurants and shops of the authentic Spanish seaside town of La Herradura. Hillside Heaven

Casa Limon is a gem of a place. A little slice of heaven in the hills. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our 2-week stay here. Le Herradura is a lovely seaside town with a wide range of restaurants and activities for the whole family. The house manager was delight, recommending and booking places to eat and even a sailing trip, which was the highlight of our stay. The house is a charming calm space nestled among avocado groves. It has is own fresh fruit supply - mango, lemons, limes, figs and even lychees which the children loved helping themselves to throughout their stay. The private pool was kept spotless and provided hours of fun for us all. This really is a wonderful villa which we look forward to visiting again.

Great stay

We had a great holiday. House is beautiful and stylish, very nice original details kept. Swimming pool is not very big but was perfect for us, with small children. The only thing we were missing was glasses. For a group of 6 we were always missing some cups or glasses so the dishwasher was running often. It would be great to have a set so you can serve all same glasses to dinner 😊 Location is spectacular but a bit difficult to get with the car. It was an experience dvery time. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

Idyllisches Anwesen abseits vom Urlaubstrubel

Für zwei Wochen selbst in großer Hitze der perfekte Urlaubsspot. Das Meer in Sichtweite am Horizont, ein türkis-glitzernder Pool im Garten. Oliven- und Mangofelder an den Berghängen in der Nachbarschaft. Ein idyllischer Rückzugsort, für alle, die Ruhe suchen. Strände, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Das Haus ist stilvoll und charmant eingerichtet - im Hochsommer allerdings war unser Lieblingsplatz unter dem Feigenbaum an der Terrasse. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge u.a. nach Málaga oder Granada. Für Fragen oder Tipps gab es einen kurzen Draht zum Host vor Ort. Wir fühlten uns zur jeder Zeit willkommen. Bis zum nächsten Mal in Casa Limon…

traumhaftes Anwesen

Anfang Oktober 2019 waren wir mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern für 8 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und alle nötigen Elektrogeräte sind vorhanden. Über eine schmale, geteerte Bergstraße ist es zu erreichen und man hat einen sehr schönen Fernblick auf das Meer (5 Autominuten entfernt). Im Sichtfeld steht ein Strommast, der aber in keinster Weise stört (auch kein Summen o.ä.). Diverse Fruchtbäume stehen auf dem Anwesen an denen wir uns nach Belieben bedienen durften. Zu unserer Zeit gab es Mangos zum Sattessen. Der Pool und die Liegen sind wunderbar und am Liebsten möchte man sich gar nicht vom Grundstück fortbewegen. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge nach u.a. Granada und Málaga perfekt. Das Anwesen wird herzlich betreut und auf Fragen wurde sich umgehend gekümmert.
