Es gibt alles, gute Restaurants, schöne Wanderwege, der Lima ein sauberer Fluss, in dem man sogar baden kann. Alles das zu Fuß erreichbar. Stay at Casa da Memoria Sept 2019

Characterful house in wonderful location, quite rural yet only a short walk from Ponte de Lima centre. Owners could not have been more friendly or helpful, rapidly sorting out a problem we had with the washing machine, and providing lots of great local information. Thoroughly recommended.

We werden heel vriendelijk onthaald door Carlos en Maria die ons een rondleiding gaven in de prachtige ‘casa da memoria’. Een authentiek huisje dat met heel veel stijl gerenoveerd werd tot een erg praktische vakantiewoning. Heel rustig gelegen en toch op wandelafstand van het levendige Ponte de Lima. In de nabije omgeving is heel wat te beleven. Wandelen aan de kust, kajakken op de Lima, stedentrip naar Braga of Porto... De ideale uitvalsbasis om Noord-Portugal te ontdekken! We hebben heel erg genoten van de casa en de omgeving! Een echte aanrader!!

Bij aankomst werden we heel goed onthaald door Carlos en Maria ! Ze waren altijd beschikbaar indien nodig. Het huis is netjes en goed onderhouden. Er is een vaatwasmachine, een wasmachine, airco.. Het zwembad is zalig! De locatie van het huisje is ideaal. Ponte de lima ligt op 15 minuten wandelafstand. Braga, Viano de Castelo, Porto, Caminha (het strand) is allemaal te doen met de auto.

Relaxed flight to Porto Airport (Francisco Sa Carneiro). Via rental car about one hour to Ponte de Lima. The very kind landlords picked us up to guide us to the Casa. The Casa da Memoria is a charming, complete renovated historical building. Excellent environment incl. dishwasher, washing machine and air conditioner. Very nice pool in the courtyard. Quiet and calm location. About 10 minute walk to the lovely center of Ponte de Lima with shops, restaurants and a seaside promenade. Very good location to travel to Porto, Barcelos, Guimarães and other historical towns. About 30 minutes by car to the Atlantic ocean. Great place for watersports. We recommend the Casa da Memoria very much!
