About this property

Little Tithe Barn, Lodge Barns, Morton, Southwell Country Retreat

Little Thite is based on a working farm out in the country side. We have two holidays lets here, one of which is the Little Tithe which sleeps 2 Guests. The barn is all on one level, with ample room of car parking space.

It has a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, fridge, oven, pots, ect. There is a lounge area with a Tv and Dvd player and an electric fire. The bath room has a sink, toilet and shower. Then the bedroom has two pine single beds which can be pushed to make a double or can be two singles with cupboards and a wardrobe.

The barn comes with the beds all made and fresh towels are also provided. We also put in the basic essentials for the barn as well.

Great countryside get away. Perfect place for dogs (on arrangement) with an open field at the front to run around and great country walks right on the door step. Also perfect for children with plenty of open space to explore.

Just down the road is a local country pub and also is the local store with everything you need all on your door step.
The town Southwell is just a 5 minute drive away and the Town Newark-On-Trent just a 15min drive away. Over the hill is also Brackenhurst Agricultural College and we are also just in the next village from the Southwell Racecourse which has lots of different events happening all year round.
There are lots of country walks to go on, Equestrian Center - Trent Valley, Golf Courses, Shopping Places, White Post Farm...

comfortable and quiet stay
chose this accommodation as close to family, used to sleep and prepare breakfast. warm and well equipped few problems (shower and wifi) but sure these would have been fixed if we'd stayed longer

Just perfect
Self isolation couldn’t have been anywhere better. Once inside everything we needed, beautiful setting easy to find for delivery of our test packs too. Highly recommend

Pandemic relief
Our first break in nearly a year. An ideal pristine barn conversion on a working farm. South facing garden in an orchard and you could here a pin drop. We had sunshine on all four days from dawn to dusk. It was very cosy. Amanda was a great help when we had a problem and helped us resolve it quickly. We took short trips out locally and to garden centres. Generally we just relaxed, it was lovely.
