Had a great stay. The cottage is both spacious but still cosy and very warm. I'm simply going to say it is excellent! Everything you would want it to be....

that is very nice to know,,,, many thanks.....have a jolly good christmas
This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the house. Good communication with the host. Fully stocked kitchen. Very warm, which we needed in mid winter !! Dog friendly and a big garden for him to run about in. Plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds. The separate snug is very cosy. 4G not very good in this area if you are with 3 network but the internet works perfectly well.
Great place to stay location great . A shame we couldn’t get any internet or 5G at the property.

Thank you for taking the time to post this review & we are pleased that you appreciated The Cottage & the locality.
As we informed you when you contacted us, all the guidance/passwords for the wifi are set out in the black folder. Neither the guests who preceded you, or those that followed, reported any issues with the wifi. Our internet provider has also not reported any issues.
We hope this difficulty did not impair the enjoyment of your break.
A lovely property, well maintained and equiped, very large gardens ideal for pets. A convinient location for walks and visiting local attractions. Great communication and helpful information. Many thanks Pete

Thanks for taking the time to write this very positive review. We hope you will come to The Cottage again sometime.
Overall, we had a relaxing break with our dogs. The garden is to die for, and there are loads of places to have quiet, undisturbed walks. The property itself is huge and great value for money. Thanks for the use of the BBQ; it really made our stay in the sunshine.
Very well equipped cottage. Felt more like home than a holiday let. There is plenty of room to ‘spread out’ if needed. We have family in the area and the cottage is an ideal place to stay while visiting them and many ‘local attractions’.

Thank you for taking the time to write this positive review.
We would happily go back to this property - we had a relaxing stay; enjoyed by both adults and children. We visited Newark, Sherwood Forest and had a day in the Peak District - all reasonably close by.

Thank you for this review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay in The Cottage.
We had a comfortable and relaxing break at the very well equipped cottage (exactly as described), which we found to be well located, with walks either from the doorstep or a short drive to nearby Sherwood forest, Thoresby Park etc.

Thank you for leaving this positive review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
The house was very clean, comfortable and cosy with plenty of room to ‘spread out’. Our dog loved exploring the large garden and relaxing in her bed which was made all the more cosy by the under floor heating. The property was conveniently situated for us to visit relatives living nearby.
