Redroofs Barn is a beautiful barn conversion sat adjacent to a working arable farm offering immaculately presented, self-catering holiday rental near the historic town of Newark in Robin Hood’s Nottinghamshire. On the edge of Sherwood Forest, set within private grounds and with lovely views over open fields and countryside.
We are perfectly situated as a base for exploring the sites and attractions of the East Midlands and beyond with excellent road links
Lovingly designed and beautifully presented it offers four star, gold standard of comfort ,beautifully decorated, well equipped and stylishly furnished.
Whether you are looking for a romantic bolt-hole, a larger house for a group of friends for holidays, for short breaks or business travel and whether you are staying for a couple of days or weeks we can provide a great place to stay in Robin Hood’s Nottinghamshire - the perfect place to relax and unwind.

We are an ideal base for exploring one of the most beautiful parts of England, a haven for walkers and cyclists, yet easy to get to from the A1 trunk road, just a few minutes away.

Ground floor is fully tied throughout
The dining room is conveniently located next to the kitchen and opens up into the lounge making a wonderful social space. With a large oak dining table to seat 8 guests lovely views from the patio door, tiled flooring throughout the ground floor, a pretty staircase leading up to the first floor letting light through from the stairwell.
The Kitchen is fully fitted with good range of units with granite worktops. It is equipped with a large electric range cooker, American style fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all the utensils you will need to cater for your stay. A good selection of serving dishes, pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware are provided
The Lounge is furnished with 2 large sofas and easy chairs, plump cushions and throws providing seating for watching television or just curling up and listening to music . It features patio doors and two picture windows with uninterrupted views to the local countryside, Smart television . A selection of board games suitable for all ages are housed in a cupboard here. The mock decorative 'wood burner‘ and soft lighting makes this a lovely room.
First Floor

To the front of the barn is a lovely family room sleeping 4 guests, with oak flooring, patio doors and Juliet balcony. There is a king size bed with an additional single bed and a full size trundle bed tucked away. A flat screen TV ,a modern ensuite shower room. Blackout blinds are fitted to the windows.
At the rear or the barn is a quaint twin-bedded room with oak flooring and great views to the open countryside. TV and blackout blinds to windows. A separate modern shower room is adjacent.
Need a little more room then book Florence our bespoke bijou Shepherds Hut who lives in the garden ,additional sleeping for 2 guests ,please note not suitable for anyone under 16yrs or less infirm ,please note there are no bathroom facilities in the hut
Our barn is great for guests of all ages not just because Nottinghamshire offers great days out for them, such as exploring the stories of the legendary Robin Hood in Sherwood Forest, stories of castles torn apart by civil war, or visiting one of the endless list of family friendly visitor attractions the county has to offer...

As dog owners and lovers ourselves we know how important a part of your family your dog. Why not bring your dog on holiday with you? It’s good to share the experience with them. We won’t charge you a thing. We warmly welcome well trained dogs to stay. We except 2 dogs.(please see our doggy rules)

We have a private Hot Tub available to rent additionally max 4 guest booking only min age 12 years please ask for more details (not available Christmas /New Year)

Beautiful, immaculately clean and spacious property. A great place to stay especially for a weekend break. Sally (the owner) provided us with a welcome pack and even came around to see us upon our arrival with some freshly laid eggs from her rescue chickens. Recommended!
