The house itself is a modern multi-level 3,500 sq ft home, fully furnished with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The house can sleep [x] and includes wifi, flat screen tv with netflix account and lots of DVDs for rainy days. An open concept kitchen and living area has views out onto the lake, with a large back deck for summer bbqs and your morning coffee.

We had a large group of family staying here, and it was so handy having so many different spaces that smaller groups could peel off into. Those who wanted to stay up later were downstairs, and the earlier-to-bed were upstairs, and this worked great for us. Kitchen was fully stocked, and we enjoyed the different games set up for us in the garage and basement. This was perfect for our weekend reunion, and our hosts were wonderfully responsive anytime we had questions.

This place is so great for families. Our stay was awesome. Between two families our kids ranged from 3 months to 9 years old. There is so much space, a little yard, great deck and the proximity to the lake can’t be beat. We really enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you would need and is well stocked for paper towel, TP, coffee pods etc. May need to make this an annual “framily” trip.

Board Game Retreat

One of the most well furnished rentals we have enjoyed. This was a great location right next to the lake, with lots of fun activities for adults, young kids, and older kids furnished by the host.

Awesome location

House was beautiful and location was perfect… each room was unique and had so many amenities - and comfortable beds! The bathrooms and kitchen had everything you could need. Lake was just a short walk away out the back fence. Lots of room in backyard for ladder ball and other games. Deck had a very large table with 8 chairs - perfect for outdoor dining and family card games. Good hiking just 7-10 minutes away as is the town of Hope.

The house was clean and served the purposes for our Annual Family Weekend away. Unfortunately our stay was somehow a day double booked (even though I made the reservation a whole year in advance), so we had to cut our family time short which was very disappointing. The other family was unprepared to leave earlier.

Great Stay!

The place was very clean and the listing is accurate. It has a great layout for large groups. We had 12 people and it fit us perfectly. We really enjoyed our weekend and Tricia was a great host. She had great communication but left us to enjoy her house on our own.

Spacious holiday house by the lake

Tricia's house was spacious and was just steps away from a beautiful lake with a beach. The house even had two arcades that the kids thought was the highlight of the trip! Tricia was very helpful and even the neighbour was super kind and nice! It was a good stay overall.

Great Hope Stay.

This house was clean, comfortable, spacious and spotless. The beds and linens very comfortable. The home is modern, so everything worked well. Everything we could need, or want, was provided, along with extras. I would definitely recommend this property.

Family Vacation Home Base

We stayed at the property for 6 days as a family of 15 visiting extended family in Hope. It was the perfect home base for all the fun activities that the area has to offer. The house had enough room for us all to congregate for meals and games, but also spaces for us to spread out when needed. The arcade games in the basement were a big hit with the kids, and we all enjoyed meals on the large back deck. Would certainly recommend this clean and functional vacation home!

Lots of space and v close to lake :)

This is our second year staying in this home with our our whole family. 7 adults and 7 kids and everyone is very comfortable, lots of space for us and then we would walk a few metres to the lake for the day, was perfect! Tricia was accommodating when we asked about an early check in and with all her communications was very prompt and helpful. Thank you!!!

Family Thanksgiving

Our family of 7 adults and 4 children stayed at this lovely home for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. The home is very spacious, with more than enough room for all of us to eat, sleep and visit comfortably. The kichen is well equipped, with lots of work space. The proximity to the lake was a real bonus and the abundance of hiking trails in the area gave some of our group the opportunity for lots of exercise. All in all, we were very pleased with everything and will definitely book this property again.q

Lovely home

This home was at a great location close to the lake in a nice neighborhood. It was well stocked and very clean. Just be aware that the basement with a rec room, kitchen, and two bedrooms does not have central heat. Space heaters were provided but we didn’t find them until two days later. There is little in the way of directions or information in the welcome book. GFI outlets were not located by all sinks so be very careful. We are from the states so maybe codes are different in Canada?

First Class

We had a fabulous time - great property, great location, well maintained. The house is modern. Laundry room just off the kitchen was handy and well stocked; lots of linens, kitchen and panty had lots of utensils and supplies. Toy cupboard kept a three year old and nine year old interested plus puzzles, games, etc. Nice yard. Air conditioning was nice as we were there during a heat wave. Tricia was always accessible, very helpful in providing information and keeping in touch. The location is superb, so close to the lake, which everyone enjoyed. Easy to run back to the house for food or whatever and easy to drag own toys, blankets, beach stuff, etc. We brought a paddleboard and wagon which were handy. Access to garage was great for bikes and other stuff. Driveway parking for 3 to 4 cars. Quiet and nice neighborhood. 5 minute drive to grocery, bakery, pizza, etc. We were an extended family of 5 adults and two children. Couldn't have been better. Would definitely book here again.

Perfect for our group of 7.

We were at a wedding. We hosted a BBQ the next day and the property was perfect. Just across from lake Kawawa. Great for morning walks. The house has everything you would need.
