Summer Holiday in France

The location of the property was lovely overlooking the water and beach to the left. All amenities we wonderful. Close to the Zou train, grocery and shopping.

LA MALMAISON AP1064 - NOVEMBER 2017 - Good Apartment.........

Lucienne and Sandrine were friendly, helpful and had excellent English skills. The flat may not be stylish,furnished to everyone's taste, and it isn't particularly well-stocked for cooking, entertaining etc. But the photos are a good representation, it was as described, it has a range of good-quality appliances, a sunny terrace, secure parking - and its location cannot be faulted, with good views eastwards over the Darse harbour and across this exceptionally pretty bay.. Many thanks for a great stay in a perfect location.

We arrived at La Malmaison and everything was as expected. Beautiful deck for outside eating and relaxing. Quite spot with a beautiful view.. The pick up at the airport was extremely efficient even though our flight was 2 hours late. We were awakened on Monday morning by the sound of jackhammer in the ajoining apartment! We had booked this apartment with Riviera Holiday Homes and they we very efficient in dealing with the situation. The assured us that the owners had told them that there would be no work done while we were there but this was not the case. The offered the choice of three apartment on which was really nice but in Nice and we wished to stay in Villefranche. They sent people to transport our luggage and groceries and also prepare the apartment we had chosen and came personally to transport us to our new location. This apartment although it had a beastiful view did not have the same outside space and was not as comfortable as La Malmaison. They were very accommodating and gave us adequater compensation for our problem. I would not hesater to use this company again in book accommodation in this area.

We had stayed at this apartment before and were disappointed that it was not being maintained as we

When we arrived we immediately noticed that the kitchen blind was in disrepair. Gradually we noticed that the stove fan was absolutely saturated with grease. The oven needed cleaning and the hot tub was unusable as it to was grimy. The terrace chairs shown in the photo were now worn and been replace by two modern loungers which-were not very comfortable. The table and chairs in the garden area also were not usable because they were dirty. The two subbed in the garden were not usable because the fabric was torn. The shower drains were slow running as the seemed to be slightly blocked. Some of the light needed bulbs replacing and some of the paint work was pealing. We failed to get the TV to work as there seemed to be I signal. The lounge furniture was nice and comfortable as was the bed and the view is really beautiful. It would also be nice to have a folder with recommended restaurants and directions to the nearest Casino store. All in all we enjoyed our stay but we’re disappointed in the condition of the property.

Exactement comme indiqué dans l'annonce. Si vous aimez être au calme et pas necessairement à la plage tout le temps, c'est l'endroit idéal. L'accès plage se ferra par detour, dc comptez 15min minimum a pied. Le jacuzzi permet de compenser ce petit detail. Pr les familles, merci de verifier que les mouvements de vos enfants ne derongeront pas la voisine d'en haut ! (Qui est sympathique d'ailleurs). Au final, une bonne experience!

Beautiful view and spacious accommodation

We recently stayed at this property for a family vacation. We would stay here again. When you arrive you see a home under construction but just go through a big gate and then you will see the rental property. There is a full time tenant that lives upstairs who prefers it to stay quiet. We didn’t have any problem with that and were able to enjoy meals on the patio and the hot tub while we were there. The apt is walking distance to a grocery and to coffee and the town. Having a bed for each child a sitting room and kitchen with 2 baths was lovely. The washer and dryer are new and very nice. The only recommendation we have is more towels being supplied as we each had one bath towel. But overall beautiful property and Villefranche Sur Mer is a lovely choice when visiting the South of France. Close to Nice and St Jean Cap Ferrat but in a little town that feels so quaint.

LA MALMAISON AP1064 - JUNE 2019 - Beautiful view and spacious accommodation................

We recently stayed at this property for a family vacation. We would stay here again. We didn’t have any problem with that and were able to enjoy meals on the patio and the hot tub while we were there. The apt is walking distance to a grocery and to coffee and the town. Having a bed for each child a sitting room and kitchen with 2 baths was lovely. The washer and dryer are new and very nice. . But overall beautiful property and Villefranche Sur Mer is a lovely choice when visiting the South of France. Close to Nice and St Jean Cap Ferrat but in a little town that feels so quaint. When you arrive you see a home under construction but just go through a big gate and then you will see the rental property. There is a full time tenant that lives upstairs who prefers it to stay quiet. The only recommendation we have is more towels being supplied as we each had one bath towel.
