Fienile, whose name means hay barn, is the newest unit at Borgo La Chiusa, it was totally restored in 2014, using top quality materials.
It develops over two floors, a surface of more than 200 square meters, private gated garden with views, sunshine and shade.
Accessed through a private gate, the barn boasts a grand entrance with a 3 meter arch and an elegant staircase.

Below sits a bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a wonderful open space kitchen/living/reading/dining room of 70 sq meters leading straight in to the garden.
A marvelous stone fireplace sits at the center of the living room.

On the first floor sit 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The marvelous original brick structure offers magnificent lighting and views over the rolling countryside.

The house is fully fitted and has floor heating/cooling system and air conditioning units in all the bedrooms.

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Fienile. We were a multigenerational group of 8 people ranging from 13-75. The villa is beautiful and perfectly appointed. It accommodated us all with room to spare. We loved spending evenings on the terrace. It had the most spectacular views and the sunsets were breathtaking. The saltwater pool was a perfect for cooling off after spending the mornings and early afternoons touring the surrounding area. I really appreciated the umbrellas at the pool too. Simone and Francesca were super responsive with questions and helpful in arranging lunch reservations for our group. Simone helped arrange a meal prepared at the villa for us. It was amazing, we all agreed the best tiramisu of our trip. I have recommended the villa to friends and we hope to come back and visit soon.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa

We had the most beautiful stay, check in was very easy and communication was wonderful. We also booked Elisa who is a private chef that Simone recommended and she was so wonderful, food and hospitality was amazing and highly recommended. Villa is an easy drive to Siena and also a local supermarket. Highly recommended, the views and villa are just spectacular.

Superb Tuscan villa

Great location. Good facilities. And 5 days of dry and warm weather made for a great break. Children in the pool everyday; adults needed it to be a couple of degrees warmer. But it was only May!

Wonderful stay at Porcilaia Siene

We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in the Porcilaia in Siena. Francesca and her husband were always present and keep everything in a real perfect condition. Even a broken fridege was exchanged immediataly on a sunday ! Thank you very much for the pefect stay.

A perfect Tuscan villa

We stayed at this villa for a fun girls get away. It was absolutely perfect. We spent most of our time in the outdoors spaces which were so comfortable for lounging and dinner. The jasmine that lined the walls and ceiling was so fragrant and beautiful. The pool was a great size, clean and plenty of loungers. The rooms were large and all but one had an on-suite bathroom. The kitchen was stocked perfectly. I would definitely recommend having cars but the remote placement of the villa is exactly why we liked it.

Tuscany get away

Great experience. Franchesca the owner was very warm and friendly . The property beautiful and easy to get to. Only issue we had was air conditioning was not working properly. It would work in the early evenings and shut off around midnight and miraculously come back on in the morning, so when the owner checked it looked like it was working, other than it was great vacation,

Bliss under the Tuscan sun

The pictures do not do it justice. Upon arrival to the property, we hoped that the villa would look as good as it looked online. The property and villa were far better than expected. Simone and Francesca proactively communicated and made the check-in process easy. Our family and friends all loved the villa, views from the outdoor sitting area, and the location which was a perfect base for day trips throughout Tuscany. We came back early a couple of nights so we could cook, drink wine and enjoy the fabulous setting. We look forward to rebooking when we visit Tuscany in the future!

Spectacular Experience Again!

This was our second trip to Tuscany and our second stay at the Villa Fienile. We can not say enough good things about the Villa, the location and most of all, Francesca and her husband. The property is spotless inside and out. It is set up perfectly for up to 4 couples or a large family. There is plenty of space inside and outside so you do not feel crammed together. The pool is large and private. Francesca has plenty of suggestions for nearby restaurants and if you can plan ahead with her, she will arrange home cooked Tuscan meals prepared by her and her good friend Vanna. Simply amazing! We will see you again, Kevin & Monica

ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!

We just completed a four week stay in the Fienile 5 Bedroom / 5 Bath Villa. From Day 1 through Day 28, we could not have been more pleased. Over the course of this stay, we had a variety of family (to include young grandchildren) and friends visit. Eyes grew wide and bright upon entering the private driveway and yard. No one wanted to leave! The property is meticulously cared for by the owners Francesca and Rosolino. They are totally committed to guest comfort and their pride in their properties are obvious. The interior of this Villa is even more impressive, if that is possible. Clean, Modern... 1st class in every regard. And if that doesn't sell you, then the countryside views from the ground patios and upstairs bedrooms will seal the deal. An added plus is the large and beautifully maintained shared pool, steps from the Villa. WOW! In preparation for this 4 week stay, my wife and I took a mini vacation last August with one purpose being to personally view potential places for this upcoming 4 week venture. We had the opportunity to visit a host of properties throughout the Tuscany region. Without hesitation, we can say that although several possibilities emerged, all were a distant second to Fieniel. Location wise, day trips are plentiful. The city of Siena is 6 - 8 Kms away. Spectacular sites such as San Gimigano, Volterra, Castelli di Chianti, The American WWll Cemetary (a must visit just south of Florence), Banfi Winery... are all an hour +/- away. The list goes on and on! Even the Prada Store outlets, if that's your thing, are nearby. There are grocery stores and excellent restaurants just a few Km's away. The bottom line is that this property is top notch in every respect. The owners are wonderful people. AND there is no doubt that we are returning.

Words can’t describe!

We stayed here after a 7 day cruise through Italy and Croatia and it was the perfect relaxation spot. Clean, comfy, fully functioning air conditioning, BEAUTIFUL property. Francesca and Vanna cooked us one of the best meals we had the whole trip. The pool is amazing, the outdoor patio was fantastic. Great communication, everything was perfectly fine. Would 100/10 recommend to anyone visiting Tuscany, especially with a larger group.

Just as great as everyone else has said it would be!

House is amazing! 4 couples stayed here for a week as the central location to go to 7 different cites. Perfect central location to travel from. House is GREAT! Hosts are awesome! Simone helped arrange for a cooking class and dinner. It was the best food we ate during the entire two weeks in Italy! If you are coming you definitely want to schedule this! Any small issues quickly addressed by the hosts. Thank you Francesca. We come to Italy pretty often and this house is now on our must stay at list!

Amazing stay

We had such a wonderful vacation and highly recommend staying here. The villa was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The views were spectacular. We were 7 adults and two babies and the fact that we had four rooms with ensuite bathrooms was so convenient. It offered the privacy of a hotel with the downstairs layout allowing us all to be together throughout the day. Francesca was a gracious host and happy to help whenever needed. Since we stayed in April, it wasn't possible to make use of the pool (it was warm enough during one of the days, but they were not able to get the pool ready given bad weather the previous week), but that is to be expected. If we had to nitpick, I'd say the towels could be softer, and the bedding and toiletries could be nicer, but we all did just fine with it.We left hoping we'd be coming back again soon! It was simply amazing.

Quintessential Tuscan Escape!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful villa. Everything about it was picturesque and relaxing. This villa has all of the modern amenities but still exudes Tuscan charm. Pre- visit communication was smooth and very prompt. The highlight of the stay was the dinner cooked for us the first night by Chef Vanna and Francesca. I am not exaggerating when I say it was by far the best meal we had during our trip to Tuscany and we ate at many very nice restaurants. If you are booking a stay I would highly recommend trying to schedule a dinner. Francesca was so welcoming and there was nothing better than sitting on the veranda after a long day with a glass of wine and gazing out at the garden and countryside. This was the perfect retreat for 3-4 couples and was a good location for exploring Tuscany. You will need a car as nothing is walkable but don't let that deter you. You will not regret booking a stay here!
