This typical northern house with beams and stones is ideal for a couple looking for the calm and beauty of the countryside, 2 steps from the city and the heart of the Somme Bay. The house is placed in the heart of a 6 hectare natural meadow with panoramic views of the SOMME. Bikes available during the stay (Electric bikes or mountain bikes / hybrid bikes). Closed parking. Large natural meadow, garden furniture, barbecue but also the possibility of a small outbreak in the evening. Hydroget shower and aromatherapy!
Breakfast baskets, meals ... delivered to your door.

The 44 m2 house consists of:
- a small kitchen / living room with oven and induction hob, toaster, coffee maker, fridge ...
- garden furniture, barbecue
- a pellet stove
- television and DVD player will enhance your stay.
You will go upstairs with the original miller's staircase the bedroom offers a panoramic view of the meadow and the Somme next to your "AMOUR" shower room
Linen is provided (bed linen, towels and household). In the garden, you have a terrace, garden furniture and a barbecue.

You can have access to a canoe departure and a restaurant 500 meters away. The Somme along the ground, walks and swimming, cycling and fishing activities will enhance your vacation.

We had such a relaxing stay. The maisonette is so cute, and the nice area around it almost "forces" you to take it very easy and slow. We totally not felt guilty we only did a few trips in the larger Somme area and stayed outside the little house reading and enjoying the quietness and the animals walking by. The hosts are also extremely friendly and helpful and speak English.

Un petit paradis au milieu d une charmante prairie

Un hébergement qui tient ses promesses! Cette petite maison est idéalement située et se trouve dans un environnement très calme. Le logement a beaucoup de charme et est bien agencé. Il a beaucoup de cachet. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et à l écoute. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Das kleine Häuschen bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage ist traumhaft, sehr ruhig und naturverbunden gelegen. Das Grundstück ist riesig und endet an dem Fluss "Somme". Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten den Aufenthalt genießen.

Un petit paradis !

Un véritable havre de paix au cœur de la nature et à deux pas de la Somme, des réveils au chant du coq, des chats qui ronronnent, le vent qui chante dans les arbres, une petite maison trop craquante avec tout ce qu’il faut pour le quotidien, une prairie rien qu’à nous, des commerces à proximité, le stationnement privé, et des propriétaires très sympathiques, discrets mais présents si besoin ! Bref, nous désirions de la tranquillité et le séjour à juste été délicieux !!! Un tout grand merci !!!

Heel bijzonder, knus huisje in leuke tuin met loslopende kippen bij heel vriendelijk mensen, wat wil je nog meer. Erg leuk ingericht met wel veel wat zweverige tierlantijntjes, maar erg leuk.

Het huis is heerlijk in een geweldige omgeving. Wij hebben heel erg genoten. De houtkachel gaf veel gezelligheid en alles was aanwezig, zelfs een heerlijk koffieapparaat.. Wat ook bijzonder was dat we fietsen konden gebruiken en dat is prachtig om te doen in de omgeving. Kortom, een aanrader!

Quirky, bucolic and memorable

We came to attend the 100 year commemorative service of the start of the Battle of the Somme, at the Thiepval Memorial, near Albert. We stayed an additional couple of nights as we love the area. Marc and Florence (and Hortense!) made us very welcome. We absolutely loved "la petite maisonette, Cocoon" - quirky and unique, yet clean, comfortable, well-equipped and in a beautiful bucolic setting. It made a perfect base for exploring this historic area. Le Touquet, Saint Valery, Amiens, Montreuil are only a short drive away. Marc's recommendation, "La Picardiere" (only 10 minutes walk away) was an authentic regional restaurant and a great place to eat.

Dès l'arrivée, accueil chaleureux par les propriétaires. Nous nous sommes très vite imprégnés de cette maisonnette "typique" au bord de la Somme. Effectivement, un véritable "nid d'amour". Impeccable, décorer avec goût dans son originalité et confortable. Le propriétaire nous a fort bien conseillé pour la découverte de la région et ses spécialités.
