Beautiful Romantic Pool Hideaway to discover real Thailand, near quiet beach.

Something a little bit different. Seeking that 2nd honeymoon? Only 300mtrs from sandy beach - wonderful for morning swim before breakfast !! Two lovely double bedrooms (A/C) each having en-suite shower and dressing room, overlooking beautiful garden - all created within rural area/coconut trees/pineapple fields over the past few years. Lovely swimming pool + great private plunge pool for cooling off and relaxing, listening to the many birds & maybe with a glass of wine in the evening? Free Wi-fi. Full kitchen facilities (Fridge-freezer,kettle,toaster,microwave, oven etc), opening onto large al fresco shaded dining, sitting, relaxing area, with outside shower and WC and BBQ. There is plenty of essential shaded area as well as various sun bathing spaces. Filtered drinking water so you can avoid unhealthy drinking from plastic bottles.
About 30 kms from bustling Hua Hin, ( The Royal Summer Palace is there) - good for souvenir shopping and a 'touristy' night out, but always wonderful to return to the peaceful countryside and clear skies. We like you to feel relaxed and part of our family. Moped rental is easy and local roads are quiet. Driving along by the sea, with the wind in your hair is a wonderful experience. A top floor 'sala' for your private massage,with sea glimpses between trees & looking over gardens is most relaxing, with lovely comfortable al fresco area.
Only extra is Electricity/Water, charged 'as used'.
I am Thai and my husband English. We live in the house on the next land, so we are on hand if needed. I am happy to show you around and introduce you to the local Thai open market with all its local foods, fruits, spices, fish, meats etc. If you will like, I can show you Thai cooking lesson one evening - many people say they think this all makes their holiday a little more special. Also some guests like to have clothes made by local tailor - I can show you where we go for these things - no problem - please just ask.

Louise's great solo adventure

This was a wonderful stay, Ian and Game made me feel so welcome and went out of their way to make me feel 'at home'. They showed me around and went over and above the call of duty to make my stay 'amaaazing'! The cottage was lovely, the gardens beautiful and the dogs, Bonzo and Chloe, were adorable. I would highly recommend this beautiful hideaway in the 'real Thailand' :-)

A Peaceful Paradise

Game and Ian’s beautiful and quiet property was the perfect place to decompress and relax. The cottage was immaculate, and thoughtful consideration had been given to completely outfitting the kitchen and living areas, ensuring we could quickly settle in. The large new saltwater swimming pool was refreshingly cool after a day of exploring Sam Roi Yot district. The national park sights were extraordinary and well worth visiting with excellent infrastructure to support visitors. The sea was a six-minute walk from the cottage and along the beach was a paved walking trail and restaurants with seaside tables. All of the restaurants we tried were good but we have a special shout out to Baan Pal Coffee for its great iced drinks and delicious rice soup. Walking on the trail and beach was a delight and swimming at low tide was a real treat.But most importantly were the supports and recommendations provided by Game and Ian. They took us around the nearby town to help us access practical services and showed us two spectacular local sights. They gave unstintingly of their time to assist another guest when an emergency arose. We have stayed in rental accommodations in many countries over the years and have never met two such considerate and helpful hosts as Game and Ian. Our stay was wonderful and we hope to return soon!

Mahdollisuus kokea aitoa thaimaalaista elämää. Tätä etsimme ja sitä löysimme. Game ja Ian, talon omistajat - miten ihania, ystävällisiä ihmisiä he ovatkaan. He opastivat ja auttoivat meitä näkemään ja kokemaan thaimaata, mitä emme ikinä tavallisissa turistipaikoissa olisi kokeneet. Unohtamatta tietenkään suloisia karvatassuja Millie ja Bonzo. Great local area and beaches.

The property is just how it appears in the photos. It a wonderful home. The area is very local and friendly. We had a lot of fun hiking, exploring the local markets and restaurants, and the wonderful beaches. Game and Ian are great hosts. They took great care of us, even including us in a memorable beach bbq!

I am Thai lady and Ian is English. We have really enjoyed having guests for 5 years and have made some wonderful friends. We like the peace and beauty of this area and of course the great food for which Thailand is famous - sometimes guests ask me to cook something special, so we have good fun that evening - spicy or not spicy!!!!!!!. We do everything together which is nice, and are happy when walking our dogs along beach at sunset. Maybe you will like to join us???

Why they chose this property

A lovely setting near the beach, with coconut trees and pineapple fields close by. Wake up to the sound of many birds and enjoy a relaxing al fresco breakfast whilst planning your day. Definately NOT on a development with narrow streets, on top of other tourists - this is still real rural Thailand, yet within a few minutes of many local restaurants, village shops, beachside coffee shops etc.

What makes this property unique

Comfortable, relaxing with a feeling of being with Nature. I like to think you will enjoy real Thai hospitality that is seen in traditional travelogues.
