The apartment is a nice space with cozy and modern decorations. It is very noisy location though. The utensils in the kitchen were quite old and dirty.
The residence was spacious and clean. We appreciated the owner accomodating a last-minute late check in after we had a late change to our train tickets. The fact that it was so close to the Estació del Nord train station was an added bonus!
It is a quite busy area of town, and can be a bit noisy in the evenings. But with all the windows closed we had no issues with the noise. Lots of variety for food all within minutes of one another. Our building had a lovely little coffee shop attached with a extremely friendly and accommodating staff.
Matter of fact, most everyone in Valencia, at businesses and residents were respectful, kind, and helpful to us while we were there. It's a city we would happily return to visit, and apartment we would choose to have as a home base while there.
The good: the apartment itself is amazing. Spacious rooms, a lot of sunlight, tall ceilings. The building has character. Location is walking distance to old town, and tons of restaurants nearby, including a coffee shop downstairs.
The bad: due to the location, and poor windows insulation, it is VERY noisy until VERY late - in our case, 1am. Something that we expected, though, and a trade-off for being close to everything. What we did not expect was an empty kitchen (no paper towels/napkins/tea/coffee/sugar), and absence of shampoo and body wash. Since we got there on Christmas eve, all stores in the area were closed, and we could not get any supplies.
Also, I would recommend putting up a coat rack in the entry hall, it would be very useful in the winter time.
My wife, myself and two other couples shared this apartment for 2 weeks in Valencia, Spain. It had been a dream of my wife's for a while to actually spend some extended time to be able to really get a feeling for the city. We weren't disappointed - it was wonderful.
The apartment:
Pros: beautiful apartment, very large rooms, pretty clean upon arrival & had maid service twice during our stay, which was excellent. Loved the main living room & all the windows. Loved the big screen TV - we were able to watch Netflix & Apple TV at night. WiFi works great.
Loved the location at the intersection of two pedestrian streets. Very lively, many great bars & restaurants and very close to the train station, city center, the central market & all the attractions were easily walkable. Bus system & metro are great - very handy for getting to the Turia park & City of Arts & Sciences. We love the city.
Cons: Noise - Spanish people & tourists stay up late, eat late & are loud. Apartment is pretty noisy from all this street noise. But we all wore earplugs to sleep and that made it tolerable. Couple quirky things about the apartment: door handles are very sharp - several of us impaled our arms on the sharp edges. We finally used tape on them to dull them and had no further issues. The property manager only gave us 1 key to the apartment, but we made 2 other copies & that worked fine. Elevator was somewhat unreliable but worked most of the time, although only allowed two folks

Central Location
The property is very nice and located central to many shopping and dining options. Spacious apartment with lots of windows and open spaces. Check in process was to be desired as the online payment option did not work so I had to walk to the business office of the management company to pay prior to entering the unit. Although understandable, it was very inconvenient as we walked past the apartment in order to get to the business office. The communication was difficult as I only speak English and they couldn't communicate with my daughter who was studying abroad in the area. Overall very happy with the unit. Be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs as the elevator only holds two people and is very small.

OK if you want to be in the middle of it all
Decently sized property with several major issues and a poor rental company; overall not a great stay. Pros: VERY centrally located to tourist center. Good washing machine. Clean rooms. Cons: loud (street noise until 12:30a and again at 8:15a), hot (in heat wave, apt. would cool to 24C only), poor water pressure, sheets and pillowcases smelled funky. Communication with rental company was poor, with most emails unacknowledged. We left after one night and went to a hotel. Would not recommend.

Fabulous, spacious apartment
The location was very central but away from busy roads. The apartment was of a very high standard and had everything we needed.
Nothing, all good.
My friends and I went to Valencia on a last minute trip. We were fortunate enough to have found this apartment, which was located close to everything. We could walk to the majority of the sites and shops in the city. The owner was very helpful.

Beautiful - great location
Located at the intersection of two fully pedestrian streets, this apartment is light, bright, and well-equipped. We would stay there again without hesitation. In fact, I would be very happy living there. It can be a little noisy until the time the bar/restaurant traffic on the pedestrian streets dies down at night, but we just participated in the bar/restaurant traffic until that time. This location allows travel by foot anywhere in central Valencia. We didn't need public transportation or taxis - walked everywhere. You will like it. One suggestion - can the beds have fitted sheets over the mattresses? Those flat sheet always come untucked during the night. This is a minor quibble - definitely choose this apartment if you are thinking about it.
