Pine Cottage Thornham

The house is a good size and the walled garden very goos. I could wax lyrical about it.. we were a part of 5 adults and 3 generations, the house had a good sitting area and tv in the open plan kitchen ding area. In addition there was a senate lounge with huge tv. The bedrooms are all very good size with en suites. The Darden was very attractive with a lovely table and barbecue. Our only criticism was the showers which had a central high shower head. For women a shower cap is needed. This area of Norfolk has wonderful beaches but we also went to Langham Glass for an outing and found it most interesting. The farm shop on the coast road has lovely food and the fish shop, in the same location excellent. If you holiday Herron thr hat shop in Burnham Market is a must, it’s an experience not to be missed.

A very well equipped cottage perfectly set up for grandparents and a family of 4.

Everything new and clean. Off road parking but a bit tight. The separate bedroom en suite needs a shower screen, a shaver point and a mirror in the bedroom but these are minor things in a beautifully appointed cottage. We did wonder if the left oven side of the cooker was working properly.

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the left side of the oven wasn't working, we will certainly investigate this. We hope you did have a lovely time and we can welcome you back soon. Kind Regards, Norfolk hideaways

A Norfolk experience with friends

Unfortunately freezing weather kept us away from the beaches and walking. The house was perfect for six adults except the hot water supply was not sufficient for all to shower in the morning. Also in the adjacent bedrooms if one person was in the shower in the larger bedroom the shower water stopped completely in the twin bedroom. We ate out at The Lifeboat in the village but unfortunately the wait for our meals was over one hour, and The Hoste in Burnham Market twice this pub was extremely welcoming. Both were very good food. At the cottage car parking was very tight for two cars as there was already a car parked in the space from the cottage next door.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review number one after your recent stay, its unfortunate the weather was not kind to you! I'm glad you found the cottage perfect for the six of you with the exception of the hot water issue you encountered. We will pass on your findings to the home owner so they are aware. I am disappointed to see that you scored customer service 3/5 as we don't hold a record of you contacting us during your stay with any of these concerns that we would have assisted you with. All the best.

Lovely cottage

Very comfortable , thoughtfully equipped and well furnished cottage in a lovely location. Despite being a cottage, it has spacious bedrooms and the layout particularly suited us as friends (rather than one household) as it gave us all space and privacy. Titchwell nature reserve is within easy reach as are beautiful beaches and there are eateries within walking distance. Parking for two cars was tight but do-able. Had a most enjoyable stay in Pine Cottage.
