Our family of 15 (9 adults, 6 kids) stayed here for our vacation to Yellowstone. This house worked out perfectly for us! Plenty of beds for everyone, and we were only about 30 minutes from the west gate of the park. The cabin is about 4 miles from the highway so it was very quiet and peaceful. There were plenty of games there for us to play. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time at Yellowstone. It was amazing to come back to this relaxing cabin with her whole family. Greatly enjoyed being able to eat at one table together but still each have our own space at the end of the night. Beautiful deck to have an outdoor dinner as well and a cute fire ring to make s'mores at night time.
It was a wonderful time, everyone enjoyed the overall feeling of family, outdoors and a place to remember. Grandchildren had a ball to be able to come back to cabin after a day at Yellowstone was great
The home had everything we needed for the 17 of us family members. The long table in the kitchen/family room area and the long table on the back deck were just what we needed for meals and games. The fire pit and sturdy chairs in the back yard were great.
While we did find some garbage left from the people before us this was a absolute perfect get away! It was right on the money on being able to ride from the front door! We will be back.
Everything was good, could have had more toilet paper and garbage bags, and a couple of lights that were burnt out needed replacing, but overall it was an excellent experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the family time we spent here. The kitchen was well stocked and very functional for big family needs. Plenty of spots to sleep and spread out. If the dining room table could talk, I imagine it would relate some wonderful stories! Things we would change: update lighting in bathrooms especially; The back steps are unstable..need securing to the porch. The swing was a hit with the kids, as well as the grills, however guests should be reminded to clean them after they are used. Overall a great place!
We had a great time floating the river ( saw a moose and calf ) Teton national park, Yellowstone and Jackson hole.
The property was detailed correctly and the large kitchen and living area was perfect for our large group.
My only complaint was the condition of the road which hadn’t been graded for some time.

Thank you for your glowing 4 star review! With the rain and some new houses / construction going up, it's definitely been hard on the road. I believe the neighbors are pulling together to get it re-grated! Fingers crossed. The rain sure isn't nice to these dirt roads out here. It's always a good idea to drive a 4-wheel drive vehicle in this neck of the woods!
This cabin was perfect ! It was just what we were looking for. It was clean everything was In working order and all you need to bring is your food. We enjoyed watching the movies sitting on the porch watching it rain and sitting around the campfire. There was a moose outside the cabin every morning. I wish I could rate 6 stars I would highly recommend this cabin if are looking for a great place for your getaway.
Thank you so much!!! J D
We loved the location and the kitchen, games, and movies were well supplied. The common space was spacious enough to accommodate our family of 18. We also enjoyed the fire pit. There was a bat in one of the upstairs bathrooms that had to be captured and taken outside. One of the queen beds upstairs had a mattress that had separated. Some of the chairs had loose backs and could use some repair/maintenance.
While a little more remote than expected, our time at this cabin was well spent. We had great space for our large family gathering—four families. Most of our time during the day was spent in Yellowstone National Park. The drive back and forth to the West Gate was about 25 minutes (not that bad). We generally left after breakfast (about 8:00 am) and returned by 5:00 pm for dinner. As we prepared for the evening meal, there were several groups playing games in the main room. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was space for everyone to eat together. The six bedrooms worked out well for sleeping. All in all, a great place for a large group to come together under one roof!

If your just looking for a place to hang your hat and sleep this is a good place. Nothing glamorous but did the job. I guess rustic is the word. We found all that we needed to get by and it's location right off the road was easy to find.

Reviewer Comments:
The cabin is not very pretty from the outside but we really liked the layout of the place and it had enough beds for 20 like it says so that was really nice. The kitchen was nice and big and the family room was right off the kitchen which we really enjoyed. The cupboards and floor in the kitchen were pretty dirty but the bedding seemed clean and cozy. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here! :)

Thanks for a great review and your business! We'll take a look at the floors and cupboards to make sure they are up to standards. Our staff is available 24/7 so I wish you had called us right away so we could get housekeeping onsite asap. Thanks for the heads up!
This home was beautiful, comfortable, and had plenty of room for our big group. It even worked for my nephew in a wheelchair with one room downstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked on everything! We appreciated the double fridge space. Lots of games to use and lots of space and chairs on the patio to just enjoy the beautiful view. We appreciated all the fans to help keep the upstairs cool too. Kabino did a great job with communication too, which was appreciated. Overall, most things were considered for our comfort and I would absolutely stay here again.
That said, while many of our wild drivers had fun with the wild ride, beware that the road into the cabin is BUMPY! I know Kabino can’t really do anything about that but guests probably should know.

Reviewer Comments:
It was a big kitchen for our five families but except that fact, it was frustrating things a lot. This property was not well managed so it was dirty. Under the pillows had a pile of dust. And second floor hall has two bunk beds for kids but our kids had to stay and fight with mice. During three nights staying, it was a nightmare. Property manager said he wanted for us to understand this property's location in the nature but even in that situation they should clean well and manage mice for welcoming visitors to that deep wood property. It was unhappy to stay and care in Kabino.

Update: We sealed out a potential crack that a mouse may have been passing thru. Per the guest feedback we have pest abatement in place still but no longer any signs. We understand that a mouse in the house could be terrifying, especially near Yellowstone Park and we will around the clock to find the little bugger. Additionally, we've called the Park Rangers to see if they can trap any that have escaped from the park in recent weeks.

Fun time with family
First of all I want to say that the family has a wonderful time. But…. The pictures were deceiving! It looked like there was no one else around us and showed a creek nearby. There were homes on both sides of us and no creek to be found. When we first saw it we both commented it didn’t look like the pictures. Upon entering it had a bad musty smell in the entryway. The rest of the home smelled fine.It was not as clean as we had thought it should be for a 5 star property! The carpeting had stains all over and things were dusty. We expected some dust because it is off a dirt road. The rooms were clean for the most part and it was the perfect size for our family. However, every sofa was ripped along the top!!Outside the deck was inches thick with dust and we had to clean every chair just to sit on them. Again we expected some dust considering where the property was located. I just thought someone would have hosed off or swept the deck prior to us arriving. As for location it was only about 30 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone and there were amenities nearby, grocery store and gas. So not too bad. Just expect a lot of traffic when trying to get into the park.Overall I would give the property a 7/10. It has everything we needed for cooking and baking and games for the kids. The property management team has been great to work with. A little better job on cleaning and fixing the ripped sofas and I would have rated it at least a 9/10.
Great location and good management. A little rough around the edges (the road getting there was quite the adventure) but then so are we - 4 couples each celebrating 50+ years of marriage. So nice to gather and break bread under one roof.
