lots of taxidermy work so make sure kids and pets respect it. Shoes off at door and clean paws are appreciated thanks. Don't worry about cleaning house when done, enjoy your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was big and welcoming and had everything you could need. The check in process and the communication with the host were great. We would stay there again in the future.
Beautiful backwoods quiet location not too far from GNP.
The cabin was perfect for our needs. Not too far from Glacier NP (about an hour) but in a secluded and quiet area away from it all. The cabin was clean, had everything we could need and we very much appreciate that we could have our two small dogs with us. Thank you for allowing us to stay, Nick.
This was our families first time doing a vrbo and it was an amazing experience. Nick is great and the cabin felt like home. It was so comfortable and stress free. We will definitely comeback in the future. We loved being out in the woods in such a peaceful area. The taxidermy was so cool to see. Great location! I can't say enough about this place. Our family really enjoyed our time in this cozy cabin.
Just you and nature in this beautiful cottage. Off the road and away from everything. If you are squeamish around mounts and firs, this may not be the place for you, but if you are looking for peace, tranquility and fresh mountain air, you won’t be disappointed. The house was clean, stocked with plenty of everything we needed and the host communicated well. Recommend to anyone wanting to get away.
Second time staying at this property. It was fantastic, as before. Just as described. Just unpack and enjoy the cabin and surroundings. Beautiful country and great cabin. Thanks for sharing!!!
We love Nick’s place. This is the third time we’ve stayed at this forest cabin. It’s located near the end of a mile-long dirt road with one neighbor and all the comforts of home. It’s close to the campground and recreation area at Swan Lake, and the lovely town of Bigfork is just 20 minutes away. Nick is a friendly and gracious host who always makes us feel welcome. He’s usually available via text and responds most times immediately. We live in SoCal with all its traffic, busyness, and congestion. This cabin is secluded and quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Due to the lack of light pollution, It's very dark at night so I recommend a daytime arrival. The cabin is homey and well appointed. Lots of blankets, towels and a kitchen stocked with plenty of cookware. It has a strong Montana hunting and fishing atmosphere with an impressive collection of mounted critters and skins. I was very comfortable. There are books, video games and a Roku connected TV. It was the only place in town where I had excellent Internet connectivity. I was getting away from it all, but needed to stay in touch with my clients for emergencies. The only reason I left the cabin with my cellphone was to take pictures. The stocked bird feeders were always busy and deer and rabbits visited. It's a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the sights and sounds of Montana.
We had an amazing time at Nick's cabin. The animal skins and taxidermy only added to the charm of this cozy place. The remote location was perfect, and we loved that there is a hike right outside the front door. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
We loved this cabin! very comfortable bed, plenty of space. the chickens were a nice surprise. kitchen is stocked with just about every utensil or piece of equipment you will need.
We had a really nice time at the cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked and there were plenty of pillows and extra blankets. My children loved running around in the woods and our pup was as happy as could be doing the same. Overall, very clean, quiet, and cozy.
Out in the woods. I would be cautious if I was driving a car down the driveway. Definitely want to have a truck. Place is beautiful. Area is beautiful. I will definitely return.
Nice cozy cabin with great outdoor space! The property owner was easy to get in contact with and checked in to make sure everything was well. Would highly recommend for a nice cozy cabin close to hiking trails and lakes!
Really nice place and wonderful hosts. As long as a LOT of taxidermy doesn’t bother you (my sensitive kid was troubled by it all), you will be really happy to stay here. Extremely well stocked. Lots of birds. Short drive to the public beach.
It was a very nice cabin with a nice setup. It's secluded but also near plenty to do, including Kalispell abd Glacier, as well as lots of national forests and lakes, etc. The owner was very accomdating and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay.
Loved the place from first pulling up in the driveway. Plenty of space for everyone to have some alone time. Fire ring and s'mores pail were a nice touch. We ever plan another trip to glacier we will be back for sure!
We had a WONDERFUL family vacation at this place! It’s off the beaten path, so comfortable and in such a beautiful location! The beds were fabulous, kitchen was perfectly stocked, and yard was perfect for lounging!

Had a memorable time!
If you are looking to get away for a quiet and relaxing time. Look no further. We had a blast exploring the mountain and surrounding areas. So much to see and do with all the comforts of home. There are neighbors and they are friendly, respectful, and were a great source of knowledge when it came to getting to the waterfall.

Rustic and Secluded
This mountain cabin is a wonderful respite from the busyness and over-crowded conditions of southern California. The home is located about a mile up a dirt road and has only one neighbor--a comfortable distance away. The "rustic" and secluded cabin house has all the comforts of home and is a perfect place to stay if you want to get away from it all. Still, it is within a short distance of Bigfork with it's art galleries, community playhouse, and good restaurants. Nick is a gracious host, willing to help and ensure a pleasant stay, yet unobtrusive. Birds flock to the feeders and deer frequently appear. This was the second year in a row we stayed here. Hopefully, we'll return again next year. Al and Bev Siddons
