Villa Oras - Garden and pool

Thank you for your feedback and for recommending Villa Oras despite the minor issues mentioned. We would just like to clarify one point regarding the pool. Routine pool cleaning and maintenance were carried out twice a week, early in the morning, which may be why you did not notice the staff attending to it. Unfortunately, during your stay, Mount Etna was experiencing continuous volcanic activity, and volcanic ash was repeatedly settling in the area and at the bottom of the pool. Under those exceptional circumstances, completely removing the fine black residue was particularly difficult, as new ash continued to fall. Regarding the hot water, shower door, sink plug and shower heads, we are sorry that these inconveniences affected your experience. Had they been reported to us during your two-week stay, we would have been happy to send our maintenance staff and address them promptly. We appreciate your positive comments about the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, private pool and convenient location, and we are pleased that, overall, you would still recommend Villa Oras.
