The property is in a convenient location despite being a bit far from the center of Riva. A large grocery store is across the street. The Agraria Riva del Garda is about 25 mins walking, 5 by bike. Riva town center is about 35 mins walking, 10 mins by bike. The apartment was very comfortable, with pretty much everything needed to cook at home. There is a beautiful garden with shaded picnic tables and chairs. The only inconvenience to note is that there was not a stable WiFi connection. The owners will meet you in person to hand over the keys and show you around the apartment when you arrive. It is best to call the owners directly to speak with them over the phone at checkin, as they tend not to respond quickly to messages over Vrbo or Whatsapp.

No kettle, no washing machine. Very basic but suitable for being in the mountains. Toilet doesn’t flush away contents, needs a few flushes. Shower is tiny. The check in process was awful. The lady did not speak English, she had a poor attitude with us. Local facilities was good. Room was clean.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber alles sauber und ordentlich. Die direkte Lage an der Hauptstraße sorgt für Verkehrslärm in der Nacht. Außerdem befinden sich auf zwei direkt angrenzenden Grundstücken Hundezwinger, was in manchen Nächten für noch mehr Lärm gesorgt hat. Gemma, die Gastgeberin, ist sehr nett und ich hätte gerne mehr mit ihr geplaudert. Hindernis war hier mein eingerostetes Italienisch, denn Gemma spricht nur wenige Worte Deutsch und kein Englisch. Als Abschiedsgeschenk gab es eine Flasche vom selbst angebauten Wein. Insgesamt waren wir mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden. Bei einer erneuten Reise nach Riva würden wir uns aber wahrscheinlich etwas zentraler einquartieren.
