Perfect Vacation Summer Spot in LBI NJ (2nd Floor)

Welcome to this perfect “home away from home” duplex located one block from the bay on 18th street in the heart of Surf City, and only 2 blocks from the beautiful bay beach (great for young children and beautiful afternoon sunsets!) and walking distance to the Ocean – easy walk home for lunch!
This duplex offers a great deck with outdoor furniture - a great place for drinks after a beautiful beach day. The unit is identical to the first floor with 3 bedrooms (1 queen bed in one room, 2 twin beds in the other two rooms), and one full bath,. The unit offers its own gas grill, washer & dryer, fully-equipped kitchen (including a Keurig machine), window air conditioning units, iron and ironing board, blow dryer, wireless Internet, flat screen cable HDTV with a variety of channels (including on demand music and HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz channels). As a precaution measure, we kindly ask our guests to bring their own comforters/blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, and beach chairs, we will include boogie boards, and beach badges.
In addition to the items listed above, this fully equipped kitchen includes new flatware, silverware, glassware, microwave, toaster oven, blender, mixer, regular coffee machine, lobster pot, and cooking ware.
Surf City is a great beach community where one can walk comfortably to several gourmet delis, cheese and specialty stores, variety of restaurants, butcher shop, art galleries, gift shops, church, ice cream parlors, barber shop, bike rentals, hair and nail salons.
Please note that 4 beach badges (valued at $40 each) are included with each unit; however, tenant is responsible for lost badges. Also, no smoking or pets allowed, We welcome families, no groups please. Thank you!

Great Vacation

A great place to stay. Very roomy for the 3 of us. Loved the cover porch to eat or just relax on. You can also see the bay from the porch and catch a glimpse of the beautiful sunsets.

Great location, comfortable space

We enjoyed our stay here - you can't beat the location. The house is in the middle of all of the Surf City shops. The unit was spacious, comfortable, and clean.

Relaxing Vacation

Check-in was quick and easy. Perfect 3 bedroom for me and my family in a convenient location with a quick walk to the bay and the beach. My kids were happy to be close to the bay beach that was perfect for young kids! Loved being able to walk to several ice cream spots and cute restaurants. You don't need to drive anywhere if you don't want to. Hoping to rent again next summer!

Fantastic stay in Surf City

Great location on the island. It’s close to lots of places; a market, ice cream, water ice, shops and restaurants. Second floor was great with deck and grill. We highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay in the Medway’s house. The house was very clean and much nicer than the pics. Very nice location, away from the congestion. We highly recommend you to stay in Rosie and Evans home.

We loved our stay here! The house was close to everything you could want. Rosie and her husband were great hosts, they gave us a bunch of great food suggestions. House had everything we needed for the week. Beautiful sunsets only 30 seconds away at the bay.

Classic LBI beach house!

We enjoyed our week. The covered porch is great, house decor is old fashioned but comfortable and the air conditioning works great! Quiet street close to the bay for sunset watching and close to bay beach for little ones. Short walk to the beach.

Incredible LBI Gem

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! The property, the owners, the location, everything was simply perfect. It had everything we needed for the week and is in the most convenient location on the whole island. Would love to be able to come back every summer to this spot as the entire neighborhood is such an inviting community.

We rented this property very last minute and could not be more pleased with our choice. The house is near the bay but just a short walk to the beach. Near ice cream, pizza, bbq, bagels shops and other eateries. The house is very spacious and has a well equipped kitchen. Thanks, Rosie, for a great week at the beach.

Great Stay with Minor Needed Fixes

Great house and stay. Just was not sure what the cleaning company did in terms of cleaning up house. Inside Shower Mat and shower curtain was moldy. Crumbs on tables and floor. Otherwise great stay.

Family vacation

Cute but dated. We visit LBI almost every year since 2005 and while this home was sufficient we all felt we had stayed at more comfortable homes over the years. The beds were uncomfortable and the electric surges every time the a/c units cycled on. I could name quite a few smaller inexpensive updates that would have made it more guest friendly. However our family had a great time all week and the weather was fantastic!

Okay

Vrbo mistakenly had this listed as a 2 bath place, when it was actually one bath. It’s a typical beach rental, nothing fancy, bring your own towels, washcloths, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. Queen Bed was comfortable (though squeaky). Just Two blocks to the bay with beautiful sunsets, several blocks to the ocean. Convenient to Mario’s around the corner which had excellent Italian to-go food and baked goods. We didn’t have to use the window air conditioners or the heat. Stayed here during a tropical storm which was fun!

Great location

Can’t get much better than the simple walk to the beach and few places in town to grab a bite etc. Love surf city. House was a bit out of date. It was clean, and functional. Rug needs changed out or removed. The entire side of it is rolled up and warped and is a trip hazard which is not good for toddlers or especially elders. Mattresses were not comfortable. Sunken in or rock solid. My biggest thing was the rusty balcony furniture that was spray painted to try and cover it up but it’s chipping everywhere. Bring your own linens and paper products. Host was super nice and responsive, and it was a good spot for the few days we were there!
