PERFECT location!

My husband and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary in Boston, visiting from Brooklyn. It was our first trip to the city, and Jeff's place was the PERFECT location. We were able to park in a nearby garage for $60 total for 4 days, and walked / used public transit to get everywhere we needed to go. The space has everything you need for your stay, and Jeff was super communicative. The neighborhood is lovely, with amazing restaurants. We would definitely stay at Jeff's place again. :)

Stay at Bunker Hill

The property was exactly as the photos depicted and Jeff was very helpful with suggestions for shopping and food. We were in town for the Boston Marathon and had time for sight seeing. The location was perfect to walk to the local historical attractions, and was a nice walk down into Back Bay and the North End! I would definitely recommend this location for a great stay!

Great stay Charlestown

We had a wonderful stay at Jeff’s property in Charlestown. The apartment is sophisticated yet cozy. It’s in a nice residential location with plenty of dining options within walking distance, but it’s also easy to get around Boston from there. Jeff is a great host. All in all a fantastic place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Charming and Cozy

Nicely updated Charlestown 1 bedroom near the Monument, restaurants and coffee shops. We walked to everything. Bathroom was a little small and mattress a little lumpy but overall a very nice place to stay for a few nights in Charlestown.

Beautiful apartment in historic Charlestown

We came to town for my graduation and wanted to stay somewhere with character but also close enough to the city to easily do things. Jeff’s apartment was the perfect base for our stay in Boston. The place was immaculate and we loved the historical decor including an antique sampler, maps of Boston and an antique letter. The bed was comfortable and for being in a large city, there was very little noise. Seemed we could be most anywhere in Boston in 15 to 20 minutes. Really hope to stay here again on our next visit!

Great Time in Charlestown

Jeff's Charlestown condo was exactly as promised. The location was perfect for us to visit our adult sons and daughter in law that live nearby. The condo has everything you might need to be comfortable. As we only wanted to eat take out or heat up food I prepared at home because of the pandemic, Jeff's place had everything we needed to enjoy our meals. We recommend Jeff's condo for anyone looking to spend time in Boston. Thank you Jeff.

Nice Place in a great neighborood

The place was immaculate. Great neighborhood, easily accessible by the T and by car. Our only complaint was that there was no drawers in the bedroom to place our cloths. The bathroom and kitchen are updated but the bedroom not so much. We enjoyed our stay and think our host had done everything to make getting in and out easy. Thank you.

Clean, comfortable and cozy

Very nice place in Charlestown. Close to many attractions and easy shopping. Very comfortable place with nicely stocked kitchen. Jeffrey was very helpful and communicated quickly always. The only thing we'd recommend is not having a car due to local parking restrictions. Jeffrey recommended good transportation alternatives for us and many places you can just walk to anyway. Living room was a nice place to just relax at the end of the day. Thanks!

Nice Spot

We didn't spend much time there as we spent much of our time walking everywhere. Jeff's place is close to Bunker Hill where we started our Freedom Trail walk. Jeff was very responsive and we didn't need much while we were there. We're big hockey fans and loved that Jeff does too. My only one thing for me was there is a liquor store next door and the worker would go out and smoke, if you had the windows open the smell would come in. We just closed the windows. Also I would recommend maybe a higher bed, it was fairly low and I am 5 ft tall and it was pretty low to the ground.Maybe I am just used to higher beds. It also did slope some if you lay closer to the wall. Thank you for having a mirror outside of the bathroom since that was way too high for me to see. I did mark the cleanliness down by 1 because the bathroom did have a smell of pee and we ended up cleaning around it and the walls to try to get rid of it which did help, that could have just been the cleaners missing spots. Overall our time at Jeff's place was great.

Great Location in Historic Area

We enjoyed our stay in Charleston. Apartment was just outside the historic part of Boston, but very walkable to the Freedom Trail & several local restaurants. The unit was clean, cozy & quiet for being on a main street. It was perfect for our stay. Jeff, the owner, was very responsive to the many questions we had prior to check-in, especially regarding parking. As it turned out, we never had a problem finding parking on the street. The owner resides at his rental. Thus, his personal items were there (clothing, toiletries, etc.), but they were put away. There were several empty dresser drawers we could use, but not really anywhere to hang clothes. This wasn’t a big problem for us, as we just kept our items in our suitcase. Lastly, the only recommendation I have would be to provide wash clothes & hand towels, in addition to the bath towels. And, somehow, provide a mirror in the bathroom that is low enough for a shorter person to use. We had a great time & would rent this unit again. Thank you, Jeff.

Weekend in Boston

The unit was clean; the area of the property is beautiful, with quick access to bus; no quick T line access however. As to the unit itself, it is just enough space for two people. No extra amenities however, as in no bath soap or coffee provided. I had to make a quick trip to grab those things. No breakfast bars or anything. The bathroom door did not close properly; it would swing closed, but had gap in doorway and did not lock. No closet space because the owner uses the closet for his things. But the bed was super comfy; sheets smelled nice and clean. And the area is very safe and pristine.

Way too expensive for what you get, and was not suitable for our long term stay

We stayed here for five weeks. When we arrived, the window air conditioner was not in place and we were actually told that we could go down into the basement, get it, and put it in ourselves. The free standing air conditioner did not have the hose that was needed to attach it, and it was brought to us later. After complaining about the window air conditioner, a person was sent over to put it in for us. The kitchen was acceptable. The bathroom is in the center of the apartment next to the kitchen and living room. It is very small, about the size of a camper trailer bathroom. Ladies, there is no mirror to look into unless you are 6 feet tall, and you might not fit in the bathroom if you are overweight. The hot water barely comes out of the faucet in the bathroom sink, and takes a long time to arrive. The sink is so small that we hit our heads trying to brush our teeth. The bedroom is very, very small. The bed is up against the wall on one side, so getting in and out for two people means crawling over the other person. The mattress was very comfortable, though. The apartment was clean, but there was an accumulation of dust in many hidden areas. Again, after complaining, a cleaning team was sent in to clean. The sofa is a small futon, and the furnishings are eclectic at best. The internet went out during our stay, and we were three weeks without it, due to scheduling problems. This was unacceptable to us. Parking is on the street, mainly for residents, with a two hour limit during the day. We have stayed at many places over the years, and, in our opinion, this rental and the fee we paid for it was not up to our standards. Having said all of this, I would like to add that the owner is very accommodating and helpful, and tried his best to make us comfortable. He also agreed to reimburse us for our wifi hot spot charges.
