The house by the sea

An independent fisherman house built in the 60s. An entirely restored fisherman's house. A large terrace overlooking Etna, the house is located on the sea and a few meters from the main square. Two bathrooms, two bedrooms with air conditioners, a well equipped kitchen, an external courtyard with barbeque. Included you will find bicycles that will allow you to get, through the bike path, to the market of fruit, vegetables and fresh fish. The market is located a few hundred meters from the house. From Riposto station, in just 10 minutes you will arrive in Catania and Taormina. From here you can easily visit the entire east coast of Sicily, plan your excursions on the Etna volcano or simply enjoy a relaxing holiday. The position is also strategic for excursions on Etna (2 km from the house there is the historic "Circumetnea railway" which completes the tour of Etna and allows you to visit the villages at the foot of the Volcano) and to visit other important centers. such as Giardini Naxos (15 minutes), Taormina (20 minutes), Acireale, Aci Trezza, Catania (20 minutes) etc.

From the nearby marina it is possible, from July 2016, to reach the Aeolian Islands by catamaran in about 2 hours.

The house has two floors: on the ground floor there is a large double bedroom also equipped with a single bed with a large window and an external door; follows the living room with a sofa bed for two people; a kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen leads to a courtyard equipped with shower.

The house has been recently renovated and the living room and kitchen furniture are new .

A staircase leads to the upper or mezzanine floor where you will find a very spacious bedroom where there is a terrace and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The staircase connects to a large terrace with Etna view on which a large pergola is mounted with tent, illuminated and equipped with tables and deck chairs.
The house, which is equipped with air conditioning, is very bright and is located in an area equipped with services (pharmacies, supermarket, banks, post office, delicatessens and pastry shops, fish shop, railway station, car rental etc.). The house also allows you to host guests who have problems climbing stairs since part of the house is developed on the ground floor.
