Our host Luca was great! He worked right down the street and was always available and very helpful. He helped with dinner reservations and chartering a boat.
The apartment was good for the 8 of us and had a terrific terrace with a beautiful view. The location was good too being central to so many things including a small market 1 block away.

We had an absolutely marvelous five night stay at Villa Solare
We had an absolutely marvelous five night stay at Villa Solare. My husband (67) and I (66) had our 10yr old granddaughter with us. The outdoor patio overlooking the sea was so relaxing. The place was spotless.
Luca [the caretaker] was an excellent host, very kind and generous, and Walter was always available to help with reservations. Being in Praiano was the best choice. It's a much slower, quieter pace than the nearby towns of Positano and Amalfi. Highly, highly recommend!!
WE HAD A BLAST! Thank you, thank you, thank you. We don't remember how we came upon Summer in Italy on the internet but we are so glad we did. Many thanks to Google probably :)
Our stay at this villa was overall wonderful. The way the Villa is laid out, our family of six never felt crowded or cramped. Now there are steps you need to climb to get to the villa, but it's the Amalfi Coast, your are going to climb stairs! Beds, were comfortable, house was clean when we arrived. We had an issue with one of the toilets and it was taken care of quickly. Plenty of towels, cookware, plates utensils. could use washcloths, and a coffee maker, my opinion. We enjoyed staying in Praiano, more quiet and not as touristy. Visited Positano for a day, while we enjoyed it, it was nice to come back to the villa for a quiet evening. Restaurants, market nearby. Great location. Our host, Luca was amazing and responded quickly to all my questions. He gave us recommendations and helped us procure a private boat tour of the coast. Can't thank him enough!

Very nice villa in Praiano with amazing views of the coastline
Very nice villa in Praiano with amazing views of the coastline. Plenty of room for enjoying a glass of wine on the upper deck with friends and family.
The location is good with easy access to center of Praiano and Positano using the local commuter bus. Very nice restaurants in walking distance. Safe to walk because of the small walking paths in the town. Be prepared for some cardio workout with the stairs in the town.
Luca is very helpful getting you situated in the villa and providing recommendations.
Summer In Italy was very helpful with finding information and getting directions to the villa.

The villa was perfect for our needs
The villa was perfect for our needs. The terrace offered amazing views and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after sunbathing. The house was spread out offering privacy if you need it, but many gathering spots for enjoying time with your family/friends.
We booked with Summer In Italy due to word of mouth and other guests at the wedding we attended recommendations. It was a great experience overall dealing with Luca and others.

Villa Solare was great
Villa Solare was great. Well suited to our family of six. The view was mesmerizing and the owner was helpfully and available. The kitchen was a bit limited. Overall the accommodation was great, there are so many lovely terraces to be transfixed by the view.
One of the most surprising things was how quiet Praiano was compared to Positano and Amalfi, being able to get away from the summer crowds was a real treat. There are heaps of nice restaurants in the area.
