A Lovely 2 bedroom cottage with it's own private south facing garden...

La Grange is entered through its own private south facing garden which has mature trees, shady gazebo, planted borders with honeysuckle, roses, eucalyptus and many other beautiful plants and shrubs. To the rear of the cottage is a large, grassed area with a barbecue and comfortable outdoor furniture.
A separate comfortable lounge has beamed ceiling and oak flooring. TV/Video (English free-to-view channels if required.) French doors open onto the terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available.
The Bruet is a four cottage complex that is set in four acres of beautiful private parkland, surrounded by a further 5 acres of our fields, offering plenty of space to kick a ball, play badminton or boules. Perfect for couples and families.
Located in the peaceful village of Yviers, the local bar serving food is within a 5 minute walk of Bruet Gites. Yviers is located in the south Charente close the Dordogne.
Situated 4 km from the market town of Chalais with its Restaurants, bars, shops and the Monday morning market.
Auberterre is officially listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France and is within a 15 minute drive, offering a river beach with children's play areas, fishing, swimming, canoeing and picnic areas.
Brossac lake beach is 4km and has Restaurant and bar, and mountain bike routes suitable for all abilities.
The circuit de haute Saintonge is only a 10 minute drive the track François Cevert is one of the most beautiful outdoor trails in France for the practice of karting in all its forms. Also offering speed track days and competitions open to the public.
Great location for visits to Cognac, Bordeaux, Angouleme, St Emilion, Brantome, the just relax. The South Charente is blessed with one of the highest average hours of sun in France. Explore the area on foot, cycle or car amongst the vines, fields, and woodlands of this rural landscape.
Walking and cycling from the Le Bruet is excellent with free mounting bikes available for guests. There is a large fenced 12m x 6m swimming pool with lovely views and reclining sun loungers. There is a games room area with table tennis, table football, kids pool table, books and games for children and adults.

bel environnement

gîte confortable et agreable. toutefois le manque de vaisselle ( bols, ramequins, couteaux affutés, et grands meugs)ainsi que le non fonctionnement du néon au dessus du lavabo et la glace placée trop haute sont à déplorer.

Situated in an lovely quite and peaceful location but ideally close to the market town of Chalais and some of the best places in France.

What makes this property unique

Set in the most peaceful setting with plenty of garden to relax in as well as a great swimming pool for those hot sunny days. Staying here with us will totally relax you... The surroundings and views are great. The location gives you the best of both worlds with really great days out and a lovely quite place to come back to. There is no traffic noise but great views.
