VILLA GROUND FLOOR, NEAR THE BEACH, SEA VIEW, INTERNET, BIG GARDEN

Space and serenity await you in the property located 550 yds from a beautiful sandy beach.
The beach is accessible by foot within 10 minutes.
The center of Saint-Cast is 5 minutes by car.
The ground floor (126 square yards) is comfortable, bright, spacious and friendly. It is completely indépendant from the upper floors (accessed via an outside staircase) occasionally occupied. A large enclosed garden (3600 sq yds) surrounds the property.
There is a portico suitable for children and teenagers and a great area to play ball for example. The terrace, south facing, with garden furniture, allows to take very nice meal outdoors.
The kitchen is well-equipped. One bedroom is particularly spacious, with sea view.. The living room and the garden have also got a sea view.
It is possible to rent sheets and towels for 25 € per person.

The beach has a family atmosphere. Young children can enjoy the beach clubs and their activities. During the summer, shows for children are offered.
As for the teenagers, they could go to the discotheques (there is one on the nearest beach), take advantage of great atmosphere in some bars, attend free modern concerts, walk on the promenade along the sea...
Many water sports are available including sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, kite surfing, boat rental, diving...
During high tides, it is possible to walk, feet in the water, from the Pen-Guen beach to the Ebihens island; you can fish shellfish, or go to the Fresnaye Bay and have fun catching small fishes that can be eaten fried.
Municipal swimming pool with heated sea water, offering swimming lessons.
Tennis club, 9 courts.
Famous golf, near the beach (at 1 mile from Saint-Cast) with stunning views of the sea.
Superb walks along the sea: 12 miles of coastal paths (mostly GR 34) and many other short walks crisscrossing the area.
For lovers of bikes: many markes trails.
The equestrian center offers courses and horseback riding through the lush hinterland or on sandy beaches.

Great home with lots of space

We had a great time! There was enough room for the 5 of us and it was a great advantage to be able to let the dog stray around in the garden without having to fear that he escapes. The seaview from the main bedroom is amazing. All the lovely details make it a real home. Also, there was everything you need there! We can absolutely recommend the stay in this house!

We had a great week!

We had a great stay in st Cast. The house is almost exactly as described. Great garden, brilliant for our dog. Great fence.(great for our mindset). I previously said “almost as described”: The master bedroom is lovely with doors to the garden and a distant view at sea. Better then described! The kitchen is small but very complete. I love to cook and usually bring a solid frying pan, knives etc. But did not need them. Everything is there. The beds were fine (we experienced differently over the years, especially in France, as we are all tall). Isabelle was very helpful to answer any questions (through the app). She was on the premise (totally separate upper floor) for a few days but very discrete. The one little thing is that if wifi everywhere is really important for you (for our teenagers for example 😊) it is limited to the master bedroom, kitchen and livingroom. The other bedrooms did have barely any range. Used TV once and worked straight away (no complicated 6 remotes and buttons everywhere protocol) We missed in our booking to order linen and towels and found that out a day before arrival but after contact with Isabelle it was taken care of when we arrived. So summarized, great, especially as dog owner!

Ein tolles und sehr individuell eingerichtetes Haus

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem sehr gediegenen und individuell eingerichteten Haus. Viele Teile des vermeintlich älteren Mobiliars waren tolle Antiquitäten und zahlreiche Dioramen und Bilder zierten die Wände. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ich bestens ausgestattet und es gibt nichts, was hier fehlen würde!Leider war der Garten für unseren Hund (38kg und ein fluchtbereites Energiebündel) nicht ganz ausbruchsicher. Aber das hat unserem Erlebnis und der Erholung keinen Abbruch getan. Der Weg zum Strand ist durch den Höhenunterschied nicht ganz so kurz und nur über die Strasse zu erreichen, aber für einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang bestens geeignet.

Thank you for your review. To go to the beach on foot, you can take the small road (rue du Paradis) It takes 5 minutes to go down and 10 minutes to go back up. You can also take a very pleasant path through nature. The route is explained in the welcome guide.

Très agréable séjour, Pâques 2025

Très belle maison, au calme, avec vue imprenable sur la mer depuis la maison et le jardin.Location particulièrement bien équipée, et très bien située, à 15mn à pied de la belle et grande plage de Pen Guen, accessible aux chiens hors vacances d'été. La région est magnifique, à proximité de nombreux sites réputés (St Malo, château de Saint Cast, Fort Lalatte, falaises de Cap Fréhel...), avec une flore et une faune riches ; nous avons pû admirer des phoques, des dauphins et des pingouins. La moitié des restaurants alentour prennent les chèques vacances.La propriétaire, avec qui nous avons échangé par téléphone ou SMS car elle n'était pas sur place cette semaine là, s'est montrée à la fois accueillante, disponible et réactive.Nous recommandons fortement ce gîte où nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille (4 adultes).

Vacances très agréables. Propriétaire très réactive et aux petits soins. Seul bémol : échanges téléphoniques avec Abritel très surprenants (par 2 fois, l interlocutrice et l interlocuteur m ont raccroché au nez, mais peut-être était ce à chaque fois une fausse manipulation !.....) de plus avons reçu par mail un devis dont le montant ne correspond pas à ce qui nous a été débité. Troisième réservation dans cette charmante maison et comme toujours, nous sommes très satisfaits ! Isabelle est une hôte tres accueillante, disponible et aux petits soins pour ses locataires ! L'interieur de la location est très spacieux, confortable et très bien équipé. On se sent comme à la maison avec le plus : une vue sur mer et le bruit des vagues dans le jardin. Rust en ruimte!

Het was een heerlijke week. Huis is geweldig met waanzinnige tuin en zelfs zeezicht. Strand op loopafstand en veel leuke plaatsjes te bezoeken binnen korte rij-afstand.

Maison spacieuse sur un grand jardin clos. Equipement très complet (appareils électroménagers, vaisselle, ...). Nous avons apprécié les nombreux livres et documents à notre disposition. Parmi les éléments qui pourraient être améliorés : - absence de sacs poubelles dans la cuisine - papier wc en quantité très limitée - wifi très faible dans la salle à manger Nous aurions aussi apprécié un petit mot de bienvenue. Bilan global très positif. Nous y retournerions le cas échéant.

J’ai remercié ce locataire pour son appréciation. Cependant, je souhaite revenir sur les éléments à améliorer : - Les femmes de ménage, habituées à la location saisonnière, ont toujours procédé ainsi : un sac dans chaque poubelle et un rouleau complet de papier toilette pour chaque wc. Le Wifi est effectivement faible dans le séjour, malgré l’opérateur Orange. J’attends avec impatience la fibre. Le mot de bienvenue est dans le guide d’accueil.

Ein schönes Ferienhaus in guter Lage

Uns hat das Ferienhaus mit seiner Einrichtung und Lage sehr gut gefallen. Im eingezäunten Garten mussten wir uns keine Gedanken um unseren Hund machen. Auch er hatte einen schönen Urlaub. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr schöne Wanderwege, welche man vom Haus aus gut ohne Fahrzeug erreichen kann. Ein Bäcker ist in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Haus an ausgezeichneter Lage

Ideale Lage des Hauses für Ausflüge in der Region. Grosszügige Ausstatung, Küche sehr funktionell, Gelände mit viel Umschwung. Grundstück eingzäunt sehr gut auch mit Hund. Wohnung etwas in die Jahre gekommen und etwas verstaubt. Zuschlag für Wäsche zu teuer.

These Swiss tenants did not take a good look at my photos : the house is in a authentic Breton style and not in a modern style. The same for the furniture. Concerning the dust, I was there just before the arrival of the tenants. I checked the cleanliness, even under the furniture. Offering sheets and towels is a real service. It is up to the tenants to choose to accept or not the price.

Par souci d’améliorer ma location, j’ai demandé au locataire (après l’avoir remercié pour son appréciation) ce qu’il trouvait d’ancien en électroménager. Il m’a répondu qu’il pensait au lave-vaisselle. La vaisselle n’était pas sèche en fin de programme. Étant sur place la semaine suivante, j’ai testé le lave-vaisselle (qui a moins de 2 ans). Il fallait tout simplement penser au liquide de rinçage, qui aide l’eau à s’écouler de la vaisselle.

Maison à Saint-Cast-Le-Guildo

Si la vue depuis l'habitation était superbe, et le jardin nickel, il y avait tellement de toiles d'araignées dans la maison (plafonds, éclairages ...) qu'on aurait presque pu fêter Halloween. Il y avait sous les têtes de lits et les sommiers des chambres des enfants tellement de poussières que c'en était écœurant. Quand on connaît le tarif de cette location pour une semaine, la moindre des choses c'est que le produit soit propre. Nous avons passer les premières 24h à faire le ménage pour nous sentir enfin mieux dans l'habitation.

Je suis choquée par ce locataire qui m’a mis 2 étoiles. Son commentaire négatif, focalisé sur la poussière, est tellement exagéré qu’il ne peut pas être crédible. Les locataires avant et après lui m’ont mis 5 étoiles. Jusqu’à cette appréciation foncièrement injuste, j’avais une moyenne de 4,8/5, sur un historique de 4 ans, fixé par Abritel, avec plus de 40 appréciations.

En communion avec la mer

Un rez de chaussée extrêmement bien aménagé : tout y est pour se sentir comme chez soi ! Une vue imprenable de la chambre parentale sur la mer. La plage de Pen Guen est à 2 min en voiture. Les hôtes sont en plus très accueillants ! Un séjour inoubliable !
