We had an amazing time, the property is beautiful! We loved the visits from the deer, seal, otter and mink. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely return!
Lovely 2 bedroom apartment with great views of Gerrans Bay. Super location to kayak and paddle board.
20 minute paddle to John Henry’s Marina for ice cream (or dinner). And enjoyed some music and great Mexican food at Aqui Es Mexico (short drive away).
And Francis Point (5 minutes away) is a great place for a short hike along the ocean to a lighthouse.
Great times!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was clean and the property was breathtaking. Excellent communication with the caretaker who was so helpful and friendly. Our only disappointment was that we could not stay longer. You will not want to leave!

Gorgeous home! So thankful! Will hopefully return!
Had an absolutely amazing by stay! Beds a bit firm but still good rest. Tim, the caretaker, very pleasant and accommodating! The 4 of us really enjoyed the entire experience! Thank you for sharing your home!
What a place, no matter how I describe Sandra’s property I’ll will not do it justice.
It had everything we needed. Location address and check in details were very easy to follow, and view just topped off our stay. Will definitely be recommended it to family and friends
Thank you Sandra
This was the second year that we stayed in this property. The view from the living room and balcony is even better than the photos. The house is beautiful, well designed and very comfortable. This so far has been the best property that we have rented in Sunshine Coast. We love the view, access to water, the design of the house and the tranquility of the location.

Best views on the coast! This was a stunning place to spend time in the Sunshine Coast. Nestled into a quiet part of Pender Harbour it was the perfect launch spot for evening kayaks, as well as day trips to Egmont (rapids) and Sechelt (ice cream). The local store is 5 minutes away with everything you need. We had daily visitors - deer, geese, seals. And out host, Em, was just delightful.

Beautiful location
The house was very well located in the beautiful Pender Harbor area. It was a short drive to many vacation spots such as Ruby Lake, Skookumchuck Narrows, Thormanby Island water taxi and Sechelt Inlet. The house had a lovely view with very bright morning light. Another plus is being quite near the local market. The reason that we are rating it 4 rather than 5 is the uncomfortable beds and the lack of washer/dryer. This being said, we'd stay there again.
We were so lucky with the weather that we went for a swim most mornings. Cannot think of anything that we found wanting really. Struggled a bit with the washing machine and dryer but everything else more than made up for it.
We had a four wheel drive vehicle which is worth using if you have it because the drive is gravel and very steep.
We loved it !
If you like beauty, peace, and quiet, you’ll love this place. The house is well appointed, and has some nice updates/upgrades. The windows in the living room and dining room are perfectly situated for the view. It’s worth noting the house is a little bit difficult to get to from the driveway to the front door if you’re elder, or hauling groceries. It was not a downfall for us but may be for some. Kayaking in the bay was unreal. So peaceful, quiet, and just serene. The nearby giant decrepit ship was super cool to kayak past. The Skookumchuck Narrows is quite the phenomenon. I highly recommend the Grasshopper Pub (just a few minutes drive from the house), La Trattoria Italiana (for nice Italian in a great pond area - 25 min drive) and Triple B's Burger Shack ( for a good lunch. It took us a minute to find this - it is very close to IGA and right behind the Bargain Barn Thrift Store). I recommend a seaplane tour. Other restaurant recommendations - Lunita's and Smitty's in Gibsons, Twenty Two Taphouse in Sechelt. This was a great week in a beautiful area. I recommend kayaking the bay behind/in front of the house every chance you get.

We were two couples staying at this location. The view was spectacular, the location was perfect for our needs and the area was amazing. We discovered a new and fabulous view every time we went for a drive. This is a wonderful base for seeing Princess Louisa Inlet, Skookumchuck Narrows, Ruby Lake on a hot day and may sites too numerous to mention.
Initially we got off to a bad start as we were given a non-existent phone number for the contact who was to meet us and give the entry code. We called the given number 10-15 times to no avail. Finally we called the VRBO head office and an investigation there found we were not given the correct phone number. Head office eventually got back to us with a correct number and we were finally able to proceed with our holiday.
The house was decorated nicely and there was plenty of space for us. The side of the house was a lovely, cool, breezy setting for morning coffee. This was our favorite spot! The whole property is quiet and relaxing.
The house was well equipped, however we experienced a heat wave while we were there and the house becomes very hot and no AC. We did our best to keep the sunny side of the house closed up, but that was not enough to keep the bedrooms cool enough for sleeping so we requested a fan on the second day which was delivered on the third day. This helped in the bedrooms.
One problem we had was with the bathrooms. The house is advertised as having two bedrooms and two baths with showers. This is not accurate information. There is only one shower in the en suite so all four of us had to use this shower. It was quite inconvenient. For this reason alone I would not stay there again.
We've been there 3 times and will keep going back. Its a lovely spot on the water and the kids always have a blast. The 2 kayaks on the dock are much appreciated a great way to see the harbour.
Our second stay at this property and we loved it yet again. A great location and nice rental with lots of amenities. The dock was used for our dinghy to explore the harbour and nearby coves, as well as a great place for our son to jump off for a swim or sup.
My only complaint is the mattress in the master. A duvet padded top has been added but does not much improve the overall comfort of the aging matress.
The pictures of the property do not do this place justice. The house is airy and tastefully decorated. Has a wonderful view of the garden and a spectacular view of the water and mountains. It is very quiet and peaceful exactly what we needed. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ on the deck, which we used every day.
There are steps from parking space to the house and from the house to the water but it is very manageable. We had a deer family visiting us and a harbor seal swimming around and many more wildlife.
With the easy access to the water we used the kayaks which were provided for free.
For a rental house we expected a washer/dryer especially when you stay a little bit longer or travelling with kids.
Other than that, we can highly recommend thi beautiful place.
Our stay was so very enjoyable. The communication was excellent and thoughtful from the first inquiry. Check in and out was a breeze. The property is gorgeous - a true Oceanfront retreat. We swam, kayaked and SUP’d everyday. and the area is great for exploring and hiking. The accommodation was great with everything you might need. I wish we had more time and look forward to coming back!
This property exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. The location is perfect and the multilevel garden is beautiful, but most of all the view. It is even nicer than the photos. You just don’t get tired sitting on the balcony and admitting the scenery. The dock and access to the water is perfect for people who love water activities. If you like swimming in the open water, like us, the ladder at the end of the dock is perfect for easily getting in and out of the water and while the water is cold, it is definitely very refreshing. There are steps from parking space to the house and from the house to the water but it is very manageable. We had a family of deers with two fawns visiting us every day. Also spotted the resident harbour seals, eagles and a family of racoons. It is definitely a magical place to stay. Sue was also super quick in responding to any inquiries.
The home is welcoming & comfortable. Everything we needed was available. We particularly enjoyed the spectacular view and great location
Communication & support from Sue & Sandra was top notch
Easy
Really enjoyed our stay here. The place was spotless on arrival, and what a beautiful view. We used the dock with our small dinghy (launched nearby) and explored the area. What a great stay. Nice place, great location.
The property was better than expected. The views were lovely and the living area is spacious and comfortable. My only warning is to be prepared for the steep walk to and from the house to the dock and parking areas. We enjoyed the regular visits from deer and eagles, and even the small armada of geese looking for snacks every evening was amusing. We would happily return to this great place.
Wonderful home- full kitchen and well stocked, amazing views, beautiful decor, and the deck was great! Paddled and swam in the ocean everyday. Would definitely stay again.
