This apartment is attached to a boathouse with a partial view of the Alaska Range on a wooded lot with nice walking trails. It is situated on the lot next to where the owners reside. The apartment has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and black-out curtains and one bathroom. A futon in the living area converts to a double bed if needed. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen with stove, microwave, and a full sized refrigerator. A small capacity washer/dryer unit is located in the bathroom. The apartment has a small fully enclosed covered porch for bug free enjoyment. A flat screen TV with DVD library is available for entertainment. There is no cable or Wi-Fi provided, but free internet is available at the local library.

A great property and a great hostess. Close to Mt McKinley (Denali) National Park and its associated retail tourist strip center; and the Totem Inn restaurant in Healy is a relatively inexpensive sandwich, pasta, and pizza spot. We highly recommend this property.

Barbara was a wonderful host! The place was lovely, clean, and cozy! I unfortunately was delayed due to weather and Barbara kindly refunded me for the days I couldn't make it. It was a really nice thing for her to do because as not obligated to do that. I can't recommend this place enough!
