Brewster home

A quite and peaceful property away from the bustle that can be Cape Cod, but not too far away from why one goes to the Cape.

Cozy sand very pleasant

We had a great stay. With the exception of the lack of washer and dryer, this cottage is well equipped and had a lot to offer. We enjoyed our vacation a lot!

Smooth Breeze Cottage, Brewster, MA

Very private lawn and a very quiet neighborhood. Minutes by car from several bay-side beaches but not a walk most would want to do repeatedly Easy biking.. A parking permit required from Town Hall to park cars at beaches before labor day. Beautiful lawn areas.

First stay in Brewster

Great location in Brewster, close to the things I like to do at the Cape (bike on the rail trail, Nauset and Skaket Beaches in Orleans, Cape Cinema, just generally centrally located for everything one may want to do at the Cape). Kate's, great. Walk to Paine's Creek Beach for sunset, excellent. The usable space in the house is snug but for 1 or 2 its good. Nice TV! The grounds are interesting and creative. Bunnies dot the back yard. I had a great week and enjoyed Brewster, where I hadn't stayed before. Thanks!

Cozy Clean Magical Cottage

My stay at the cottage was wonderful. The cottage was very clean and very cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the gadgets I could ask for. The yard was a really magical place with rabbits munching on the grass and birds singing. I was only a short 20 minute walk to the beach which I loved to do to get some exercise to and from the beautiful beach. The drive is 2 minutes only. I enjoyed driving to Nickerson State park only a few minutes away to walk on the trail there for a more woodsy/naturey feel. I rented a bike as well, again only a few minutes drive from the cottage, and I biked on the beautiful rail trail. There was Stop and Shop close by as well as a movie theater in the adjoining lot. The cottage is in the perfect location and close to everything that I needed and I loved every minute staying there. Lastly, Lynne and Ed were so kind and always available if I had any questions. Thank you again for such a beautiful place for me to have stayed in! ~Elizabeth

What a TeRRiFiC PLaCE!!!!!

Our week on Spring Lane was nothing short of FaBuLoUs!!!! The house is sooo comfy, laidback & very private!!! It was immaculately clean & had EVERYTHING you'd ever think of needing!!!! (Just wish I'd known that before I packed paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates/cups, plastic utensils, cpl of fans.... We def would've had one less tote in the car!!!) It was extremely HOT that week (like the entire summer!!!) so we didn't spend a lot of time out back, but the beautiful yard, screened in picnic table & extra comfy lounge chairs were BEYOND what we expected!!! We even had 3 resident bunnies that came right up to the back steps.... I threw them some mini carrots, but I think they LOVED feasting on the Hibiscus flowers that had dropped to the ground!!!! ALL-in-ALL we'd go back in a heart beat!!!! It was such a FaNTaSTiC place for a FaNTaSTiC price!!!! We ♥'d it!!! Thanx to Lynn & Ed...... Charlie & Carol (Roeckl) Smith Rutland, VT

Great vacation location

We loved our stay at Smooth Breeze Hideout. The location of the house was perfect - within walking distance to the gorgeous Paine’s Creek Beach and to Kate’s for great food and ice cream. We loved relaxing and stargazing in the backyard and enjoyed the charming secret garden. There are lots of restaurants and cute shops nearby to explore, and great hiking at nearby Nickerson State Park. Brewster is also the perfect location for day trips to Provincetown, Wellfleet and Plymouth.

Perfect Cape House!

This house was perfect for our week at the Cape! It was immaculately clean when we arrived, and nicely decorated. The kitchen had every type of dish, utensil, pot, pan, etc.- we had brought paper towels, dish soap, paper plates, etc., but it was all provided. The beach is technically walking distance, but we got a beach pass and drove because it was easier with all of our beach stuff (chairs, toys, towels, etc.). The house is right down the street from Kate's Seafood, which we walked to a few times to get seafood and ice cream. The house is perfectly located with easy access to everything in Brewster. We also hung out in the backyard quite and bit, and ate outside at the picnic table most of the time. The neighborhood was very quiet the whole time we were there, which was nice. We had a really great time - Thanks! :)

What a great week!

This house was perfect for our vacation! The location is great for anyone who doesn't want to travel all the way into the Cape - Brewster is very centrally located no matter what your choice of activities. It was also delightful to be able to walk to several bay side beaches, not to mention Kate's for the best Maine blueberry ice cream! The home itself is wonderful! The actual rental space is on one level and was very clean and inviting! While it isn't handicapped accessible (three steps into the home), our daughter with special needs had no problem navigating the interior. The owners provided everything you could think of for a perfect week! The outdoor space was just as inviting! We already miss playing games in the backyard!

Thank you so much for providing such a pleasant place to stay! .. comfortable.. cozy.. clean.. the Grilling space on the patio was an awesome bonus! the backyard was my great place to relax.. miss it already.. Being able to stay at the Cape and to walk to Saints Landing Beach at such a great price was more than we could ask for.... made our family's 2016 4th of July ! thank you so much.. Ron & Lisa

My family has vacationed for many years in Brewster and we have enjoyed our stays here. It is time to share the experience of this wonderful cottage near the beach. A rental welcome letter will be provided to you about a week prior to your stay, so that you have proof of the reservation in hand and basic house rules, along with directions and an access code.

Why they chose this property

This home has always been a refuge of relaxation to come to. We have enjoyed eating at local restaurants, walking to the beach and kicking back for a bbq dinner with friends in our back yard. The landscaping is wonderfully established and the location and private setting is away from the summer crowds, yet everything is within reach! Kate's Seafood and Ice Cream restaurant and Drummer Boy Park are minutes away. Enjoy a Free summer concert in the park after dinner! See the national sea shores, whale watching in Provence town, visit Hyannis or just stay home and enjoy the peaceful secret garden!

What makes this property unique

The landscaping around this home is special and includes a back yard lined with blue hydrangeas that are the spectacular when in bloom. The rhododendrons are the largest I have ever seen! Many species of birds visit the surrounding conservation land and provide a back ground of nature's sweetest sounds. A private secret garden is set up with a small table and 2 chairs. This is a great area to sit, read, or just relax and let your thoughts run free. With the conservation land in the back, you will be amazed at the different species of birds passing through!
