Historic Christchurch with it's Monday market and many cafes and pubs is within a short drive. We are equal distance between Bournemouth and Southampton. New Milton, Barton's neighbouring town has a main line railway station with fast connection to London Waterloo. There are excellent bus routes to Bournemouth and Southampton and trips around the New Forest area on their open top blue route bus.
