Delightful quaint St. Andrews home, nestled in the historic town. Within walking distance of all that the town & University offers.Would return in a heartbeat!
This was the perfect house for 4 couples on a golfing getaway. Walk to everything right in the heart of St Andrews. Got around by St Andrews shuttle—also highly recommend! Comfortable, clean and everyone had their own space. 10/10
Great location, perfect accommodation for 4 golfers or 4 couples. The beds are very comfortable and eaxh room is spacious and well-maintained. It is our third time here and we will be back.
We stayed here in the week building up to our wedding and it was the perfect spot. Great facilities to enjoy a night in together meal and drinks as well as being perfectly located for a walk into town / driving out to explore the Fife coastline.
Wed definitely come back and stay again!
We were a group of 8 male golfers, everybody enjoyed our stay with the accomodation clean and very comfortable. No issues with parking and we will definitely be returning in the future.
Beautiful house very close to the centre. Phillippa very easy to deal with. The house is set out very well and very clean. Bedrooms all spacious and en-suites spotless. 5 minute walk to the Cathedral and highly recommend the ice cream shop as you come up to town. Would definitely return.
There were 7 of us staying for a long weekend. The property is just as described and walking distance to everything. Comfortable beds, powerful showers, and a fully fitted kitchen. There was also a lovely garden to sit in. Philippa, the host responded promptly to any queries, and we all had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend.
The property is as advertised, worked great for four older adults on a golf trip. Very comfortable, great location, easy walk to town. Philippa is very nice and responsive.
The house has been nicely updated, while still keeping plenty of character. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the location was walkable to all of St. Andrews, plenty of space for our group of eight, and the garden area was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend and will try to book if I'm lucky enough to make it back.
The property was lovely and had a cozy feel to it.
Fabulous location, walking distance into town literally minutes away.Would recommend this place.

Why they chose this property
Dauphinhill has been our family home for 30 years and we spent many special holidays there getting to know the town and the beautiful East Neuk coast. Having recently refurbished the house we now hope that other families can also enjoy using it as a base from which to explore all the delights that St Andrews has to offer. We love the fact that it's so close to the action but is still such a relaxing space to come back to at the end of a busy day. Minutes from the beach and minutes from the town centre...what's not to love!
