Pool hours are 9:00am to 8:00pm (30 minutes after dusk).

NOTE: The pool gates have a Bar (per health dept codes) in addition to the Metco key lock. You have to use the Metco key AND LIFT THE BAR to OPEN the gate. The Beach Gate will be a little tricky because the Bar is on the side facing the stairs and the gate is high (again code thing). It will take some getting use to and take some time to work through.

There are new pool furniture and lounge chairs are out for you to utilize them, but must stay in the pool area and not on the sand.

We also want to give a shout out to Shane with SRI Pools for our beautiful pool and Doug with Continental Associates for our new seawall and steps. DBC is fortunate to have had the opportunity to benefit from such qaulity workmanship!

INFORMATION ON ***AIR CONDITIONER***

Once in the room the air conditioner will be on (usually) 76 degrees automatic. It is recommended that normal Hotel Temperatures be set at 74 degrees & of course you may go lower but please not to low or the max. because you may cause a freeze up & then you will have to turn off the air conditioner until the freeze up is melted which may also damage the unit and stop working. Controls are on the right of the Air Conditioner System. Just lift the 6 In. x 6 In. lid. It is also recommended that you leave it in automatic which it should be set to and this will keep your room at the temperature you desire automatically. I have upgraded this air conditioner from a 1200 BTUS to a new 1500 BTUS so you should get all the coolness you will need to stay comfortable. If you do decide to leave your balcony door open please turn off the air conditioner and turn it on once you no longer want your door open.

INFORMATION ON *** IN ROOM SAFE ***

In the closet on top you will see an open safe. This is free to use. Put your valuables in & close the safe. This safe locks in 2 different ways that I will explain.
The 1st way is once you close the safe press 3 to 6 numbers. It is recommended that you only use 3 # 's as more numbers you have a good chance of forgetting your #'s. Once you put in your numbers make sure the safe is closed and press the number button which looks like this #. The safe will lock with the window telling you it is locked and showing you your #'s but only for a few seconds. To open just press those same #'s in the exact order and the safe will open. Once opened you can start over again with different #'s if you want or use the same #'s.
The 2nd way is to use any card that has a magnetized strip on the back of it like a credit card or any card with a magnetized strip on the back. Swipe to close. Swipe to open. Very easy with a card. (DO NOT WORRY - NO CHARGES TO YOUR CARD IF YOU USE A CREDIT CARD TO OPEN OR CLOSE THE SAFE).
If you lock yourself out like forget your numbers or you lost your swipe card there is a $20.00 charge to reopen & reset the safe. Email me right away or Call me. CALLING IS BEST.

INFORMATION ON ***GARBAGE***

It is recommended to take your garbage every day outside to where the entrance is to the inside parking area. There is a white fence surounding the dumpster. Just lift the hand held steel hand held pipe and swing the white gate to reveal the dumpster and just throw your garbage and close the gate again.
Your garbage container is located in the kitchen area beside the sink right hand side. just pull the right hand side drawer and you will see a mid size white garbage bag. ( The bag may also be a different color). It is a good idea to throw out the garbage bag every day to prevent unpleasant odors. There should be extra bags under the sink counter or in the bottom of the garbage container. Even normal smaller grocery bags are good.

INFORMATION ON *** BEACH TOWELS OR BLANKETS ***

Under no circumstances are you to take the Royal Velvet or Royal Heritage Towels to the beach. In your drawer there are 2 Blanket Towels that you can take to the beach. One is Blue and the other one is Yellow. ( IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE COLORS MAY BE DIFFRENT). This is good to use as a blanket as it is a bit larger than a towel so you can lie on it and take in the sun and can also be used as a towel to wipe the wetness of you if you go swimming or sweating from the sun.

INFORMATION ON *** IN YOUR ROOM ***

Once you open door #612 the curtains will be drawn and it may be dark. On your right hand side there will be a light switch that you can turn on. Also towards the kitchen on the right side there will be another pair of keys along with 1 Parking pass hanging on the corner wall. If you are driving, place the Parking pass on your front rear view mirror & when leaving the condo for home please do not forget to take that pass and hang it back on the wall. IF you are Biking than you do not need the Parking Pass. The Parking pass will cost you $50.00 to replace it if it is missing and not in the room and the code # will become invalid and CANNOT BE REINSTATED ONCE THE Fifty Dollars IS PAID BY ME THAN THE OLD CODE # BECOMES INVALID is the only way for me to get a new Parking Pass so my next Guest can have a Pass for their car or truck. This is the only way to get a New Parking pass from the Association. (They have to void the # on the missing parking pass which cannot be reinstated for me to get a New parking pass for the next Guest). Example from the past. A customer drove off and forgot to take his parking pass from his car. I phoned him and told him that I was missing a parking pass. He said he has it in his car and forgot to take it up to the room and he will mail it to me. I told him, if I could not have it by today - the day it was missing, he will be charged Fifty Dollars because I need the pass NOW for a guest or they will be towed. He told me just get one and I told him If I get one then his pass becomes INVALID and CANNOT BE RE-ACTIVATED. That is how it works so he had to pay the Fifty Dollars and I told him not to use that pass as he would be towed or even have a officer asking what he is doing with a stolen or lost pass.
As you entered the room there are 2 beds which each have over all newer bedding sheets. These are 400 Thread Count Luxurious Sateen Weave Cotton Sheets.
There are basically 8 of most everything, Towels, Hand Towels, Face Cloth, Tall & Short Glasses, White, Red & Champagne Glasses, Plates, Salad Plates, Soup Bowl, Large & Small Spoons, Lg. & Sm. Forks, Knives. I believe there are 16 pieces of pots & Pans. More than 2 extra large knives and Misc. kitchen tools. Paper supplies like Toilet paper, Kitchen Hand Towels, Facial Tissues. Splenda, Sugar, Salt & Pepper are supplied. Fridge, Stove, Coffee Maker with washable Filter, Toaster and a Microwave, Dish Washing Soap and either Fantastic or Spic & Span cleaning Spray in the Kitchen, Hand soap on the Washroom sink with Soap Bars for the Shower Bath, besides miscellaneous things that are all at your service.
