Welcome to this wonderful house with seaside plot at Birsjön just north of Älmhult. Own brewing into the lake. The house is located in beautiful Råshult where Carl von Linne is born. Spacious family room with panoramic lake views. Fully equipped kitchen, dining area where you can both enjoy a fire from the fireplace as well as enjoy the lake view. 3 bedrooms with 2 beds in each bedroom. There is also a winter-borde guest cottage sleeping 2 people.

Modernes und gemütliches Ferienhaus mit Blick auf den See
Wir (zwei Erwachsene, 1 dreijähriges Kind, Hund) haben 12 Tage in Borshult in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbringen dürfen. Man hat vom Wohn- und Essbereich einen traumhaften Blick auf den kleinen See, der sich direkt am Haus befindet (eigener Steg mit Ruderboot vorhanden). Die Einrichtung ist überwiegend neu und modern gehalten. Gefehlt hat es uns dort an nichts. Christer - der Vermieter - ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich sofort um etwaige Anliegen (hat bspw. binnen nicht einmal 24 Stunden eine defekte Waschmaschine ausgetauscht), ebenso wie sein Mitarbeiter Frank, der uns das Haus gezeigt hat.
Die Umgebung lädt vielerorts zu kleineren und größeren Wanderungen durch die verschiedenen Naturreservate ein. Fußläufig erreichbar ist auch Linnes Rashult, wo es neben interessanten Gärten und historischen Gebäuden auch leckeren Kuchen in einem hübschen kleinen Café gibt.
Im nahe gelegenen Älmhult, der Geburtsstätte von Ikea, gibt es u.a. ein Ikeamuseum zu bewundern inklusive einem Shop, in dem es exklusive Souvenirs gibt, die nur dort zu kaufen sind. Etwas weiter in Markaryd (45 Minuten mit dem Auto) lassen sich auf einer Safari mit dem eigenen Auto (oder einer Bahn) Elche aus nächster Nähe bewundern. Wer auch eine ca. zweistündige Autofahrt nicht scheut, sollte einen Ausflug nach Kalmar machen.
Insgesamt sind sowohl das Ferienhaus als auch die Umgebung empfehlenswert. Wie werden sicher noch einmal wiederkommen.
