We had a wonderful stay. Only complaint would be the wifi doesn’t work. We didn’t have hot water but they responded quickly and had that fixed!

What can I say about the setting and the house?? But absolutely stunning. The pics on website don't do it justice. The views of the lake are second to none. The rooms are spacious. Kitchen is sufficient and was able to cook dinners.
The location to outings is great too. Only 20 minutes to Switzerland in one direction and 20 minutes to Lake Como in the other direction. Day trips for days.
Now what's severely lacking at this house is a manual on how to work things as well as a property management team that is responsive. First, don't count on wifi or any web connection. It was hit or miss the entire time we were there. Which is a major issue when their entire "How to work things" is a You Tube Video page that doesn't load. PRINT OUT manuals. Make it easy to learn how to work things.
Second, the hot water went out twice on us. First time took over 24 hours to get a response. Second time was the day we were leaving. Try packing and doing laundry with no hot water and no laundry room.
Lastly, the basement game room was a nice addition, but at night it's a bug haven. The bugs are attracted to the lights and thousands show up. We told the management team and they brought us 2 bottles of bug spray and said you guys handle it. Needless to say, my 8 -10-year-old daughters didn't want to go near the room.
House setting is great but don't count on the management team for anything. You are on your own.
This property has amazing potential. Unfortunately, it’s been poorly maintained and the rental agency was extremely difficult to work with.
1) Check in: instructions said to meet at a location where the rental agency point of contact would be to help guide us to the actual property. After sitting there for nearly 30 mins they told us just go to the property. We were slightly late arriving (3pm instead of 2pm), so maybe that’s why they sent us on.
2) Arrival: we arrived and the cleaning people hadn’t finished their work, the pool was filthy, and the guesthouse which contained two of the bedrooms we required was still locked, with no keys left in the keyboxes. Wi-Fi also did not work (and was NEVER fixed) making it difficult to communicate. This caused immense stress as we attempted to get settled but couldn’t until the management agency came back to open the guesthouse around 8pm.
3) Cleanliness: overall the house was mostly clean, but the guest room which was locked upon arrival, had not been cleaned, and when it was cleaned we still found an Ant infestation in the corners of the rooms. The towels they provide for the week are a joke, and we were told that more would be delivered but NEVER were.
4) Bedrooms: there were no fitted sheets, and the mattresses are pretty nasty, so sleeping was not a pleasant experience.
5) The Property: the house itself is beautiful and has massive potential. There is a nice garden, pool, fish pond, and the views are incredible. But given how much they’ve let the interior fall apart, it’s not worth the stress particularly at this price point.
As a group we wholeheartedly recommend any other family avoid this property until it’s had immense renovation and a new management company takes over.
