Floor: mezzanine and 3 bedroom of 15m2 including one with a single bed, bathroom and toilet.
Tranquility assured with exotic garden and pool without vis-à-vis.

Passionate about art since they are younger age and with an artistic creativity without limit, Eric renovated this old station of 170m2.
House gallery, or all the works of art that you can admire are the master of the house, it will be perfect for your weekend with friends, week of family holidays, quiet and safe.
Ideally located between Chinon and Bouchard Island this house can accommodate 9 people and has a large private pool (15mpar6m with alarm and heating).

Great stay in an unusual setting

Would highly recommend for a family trip. Big living space, kitchen and pool, some parts could do with a bit of a refresh (the decking and some decoration), but understand the host, who was super-friendly, plans to do that soon. Very quiet location, but lovely villages and towns nearby. Cats were an added bonus!

What a stunning property. A perfect place for our family with older teens and we really enjoyed our time here. An added bonus was the friendly feline Tina who became part of the family during our stay. Eric was very flexible to accommodate our requirements.

Peaceful and relaxing holiday

A great experience from booking, to checking-in and everything in between. Eric made us feel very at home and showed us personally how everything worked etc. A stunning property, with a fantastic swimming pool. Will be returning!

spacious family home

Very complete family home. We stayed here with 5 adults and 2 children. Rooms and badrooms were comfortable. As was the sittingroom and the very well equipped kitchen. However the stairs and living are rather noisy, when using the downstairs bedroom. The pool is lovely and the garden is larger than we expected from the pictures. We enjoyed our stay very much, the house is in a perfect location to visit the sites of the Loire-valley. The shops are a few kilometers away, ans Sazilly had a very nice restaurant, only 400 metres from the house.

Perfect peaceful holiday house

The house is stunning and the heated swimming pool is amazing. The house is large and there are plenty of places to sit inside and out. It is in the middle of nowhere but we loved that, about 10mins drive to a good supermarket. There were a lot of cobwebs and dust around but the kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. It didn't have air con but even when the temperature hit 30° the stone house stayed cool and there were plenty of fans around. We loved our stay, thank you for having us.

Een heerlijk huis voor een gezin van 8 personen.Mooi zwembad en veel vermaak om het huis (tafeltennis, etc). In de buurt veel mooie chateaus. Het huis was op het oog redelijk schoon, maar als je beter keek, zag je stof en spinnenwebben.Eigenaar Eric was zeer aardig en behulpzaam (golfbaan en restaurant reserveren).

Verblijf Sazilly Gerenoveerd treinstation

Mooi huis op zich. Het huis en het zwembad zien er in werkelijkheid uit zoals de foto’s op de site. Gastheer is steeds bereikbaar.. Misschien belangrijk voor mensen met allergie.Er leven daar constant 2 katten die slapen in een privékamer van het huis.Je hebt zeker een auto nodig om je te kunnen verplaatsen!

C’est la première fois en des années que j’ai une si mauvaise note Je vous trouvais sympathique mais bon !!! Concernant les chats c’est écrit sur l’annonce alors il faut lire avant et si vous ne voulez pas prendre votre voiture vous regardez la carte et vous verrez que vous n’êtes pas en centre ville mais à la compagne De plus j’ai rarement retrouvé une maison aussi sale donc ne me réservez plus jamais aucune de mes maisons Eric

A well situated home

The house is very private and quiet. The decor is quite modern, the kitchen well supplied. The downstairs bathroom in the master suite has its toilet off the kitchen, which isn’t ideal. The outdoor space is well furnished and comfortable. There is an outdoor grill although not a true barbecue.

Excellent week end dans cette très jolie maison très fonctionnelle ! Nous étions 9 adultes et nous avons vraiment passé un très bon week end, la maison est bien placée, au calme et sans vis à vis et à 10 minutes de Chinon. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine même si elle était encore un peu fraîche. Eric est très disponible. Merci encore Nous gardons l'adresse pour un prochain week end ou une semaine !

Excellent Property

We have just returned from this property after a week stay, two families of three people. The property is a restored 150 year old railway building which has been converted with a modern interior including suspended mezzanine area. Everything has been done well and is an interesting place to stay with the owner displaying some of his own works (he's a sculptor) including the main dining room table. There is ample space for two families to stay together with 4 beds and two bathrooms and most of the things you need in the kitchen. The real star is the outside space with a large and covered area for alfresco dining and the biggest swimming pool of any villa/home we have rented in the past. The property is in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Chinon, with few neighbours and isn't overlooked in anyway, with electric gates at the front, so is a very safe space for families with children. That said, there isn't much in the immediate vicinity but it is a short drive to Chinon (10mn) which is a lovely town with a medieval fort which is worth a visit and also has plentiful restaurants. Chinon is also a wine growing area (cabernet franc) so there is good wine on hand and nearby you have the chance for cycling (on safe and marked routes), fishing and kayaking so plenty to do if you get bored of the pool. If you're happy driving then the area has lots to do for everyone. Well worth a visit and we highly recommend the property. Finally to say that Eric is a great host and the communication in French or English is excellent.

Bonjour, si j'écris ce commentaire c'est pour remercier vivement le propriétaire pour la compréhension et le professionnalisme dont il a fait part. En effet, nous n'avons pas pu nous rendre à Sazilly en avril à cause du confinement obligatoire dû au COVID 19. Dès l'annonce du confinement nous avons échangé plusieurs fois pendant le mois de mars par mail avec le propriétaire pour trouver une solution: attente du déconfinement, report de la date du séjour, remboursement...toutes les pistes ont été envisagées. Sachez qu'il a fini par m'appeler personnellement pour m'apporter la solution qui me convenait le mieux. Merci encore. M. BRIARD

Lovely modern house, good location

Great two weeks in this spacious, modern house which comfortably housed 6 adults and 2 children. The heated pool was lovely, the house is secluded but only 15 mins from Chinon and under hour drive to a lot of the Châteaux and other sites. Two supermarkets nearby as well. Eric the owner is easy to get hold of and quick to respond to any requests- he replaced the gas in the BBQ within a couple of hours’ notice. We’d come back and stay again.
