Character cottage rental in the Valley of the Loire castles

At the heart of the town, walled and behind a doorway, you always find a nice flowery courtyard to the season by camellias, hydrangeas, wisteria, roses, honeysuckles.
Our charming cottage of 75 m² newly renovated in a house of XVIII is a peaceful and authentic, with all the comforts and furnished with care, which can accommodate a family of 4 to 5 people.
It is located on the 1st floor of an outbuilding at the residence of the owners. The common courtyard, accessed through a separate entrance to the apartment is via stairs or elevator inside for people with reduced mobility then .The house consists of an entrance, a kitchen overlooking the living room -private room, a large bedroom, a bathroom and separate toilet.
The cottage is equipped with air conditioning in the living room and bedroom.
A storage for bicycles is available as well as a relaxation area 50sqm open access (on the ground floor of the house, accessed by the court). This space offers a games area with table tennis, table football and various games.
Also enjoy the outdoor space to relax flourished with its furniture (table and barbecue): a haven of peace and tranquility.

The Apartment was lovely and central to so many amazing places. We were there during the mid 30 deg but were very comfortable with the air con in the apartment. Our hosts were friendly and we fully recommend it as a place to stay.

Lovely place to stay

Had a great holiday, partly thanks to the venue we stayed in. Everything was available. Modern kitchen with plenty of utensils, airconditioning, good beds, beautiful and quiet location.

Lovely house. Great week

Very nice house in a pretty village, with a pattisierie and boulangerie round the corner Lots to do nearby, we visited the chateau and the zoo amongst others. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Happy to recomend :)

Absolutely fabulous!

Valerie and Frederic are such lovely and gracious hosts! The property was better than pictured...quaint, clean and beautifully decorated. The unit is fully equipped down to an apron and cooking condiments, info on all the surrounding chateaux and toys if you have a kiddo. Bottled water was in the fridge and the A/C kept us cool during the unusual hot spell in June. Chateau Chambord is just minutes up the road. A quiet little town but with a cafe and patisserie (both closed Sunday and Monday). Grocery shopping is close by in the next village. We had a fanatic stay. Thank you, Valerie!

Une semaine parfaite chez des hôtes adorables.

Au coeur d'un village calme mais doté des commerces essentiels à quelques dizaines de mètres, le gîte est très confortable, décoré avec goût et d'une propreté impeccable. Qui plus est, on bénéficie de la cour fermée pour stationner la voiture, d'un local pour garer et recharger les vélos, de la salle de jeux et d'un espace extérieur avec terrasse et gazon pour le farniente au calme ou le barbecue. Que demander de plus ? Et bien, le plus c'est l'infinie gentillesse de Valérie et Frédéric, des propriétaires pleins d'attentions et toujours aux petits soins, ceci avec un équilibre parfait entre discrétion, écoute et respect de l'intimité de leurs hôtes. Séjour parfait !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette jolie location où on se sent "comme à la maison" ! Accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire d'abord puis séjour de 3 jours dans l'appartement où tout est impeccable, joli, et où rien ne manque pour passer un bon séjour. Il est, de plus, très bien situé pour visiter toutes les merveilles historiques du lieu : Chambord, Cheverny, Chaumont-sur-Loire...entre autres ! Nous y reviendrons très certainement dès que possible !

Châteaux à l'agréable

Nous (famille allemande) avons passé 4 jours dans cet appartement de charme avec 3 adultes. Rien ne manquait, on était charmé par l'appartement, le petit jardin et surtout le "table tennis" au "grenier-jeux". Certainement à recommender, aussi parce que le Château de Chamborg est accessible facilement par une piste cyclable.

This charming stand-alone apartment, with on site parking, in Valerie’s family compound is the perfect location for exploring the Loire Valley. It is steps away from Chambord, minutes to a supermarket and a stone’s throw from a lovely boulangerie.

My wife and I stayed here whilst we renewed our acquaintance with the Loire valley. The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped ,and the hosts could not have been more more welcoming. The location was both very peaceful and conveniently placed as a base for visiting the area. Also very good to have an excellent boulangerie within 50 metres. We highly recommend.

Le gite est superbe, très bien aménagé et équipé. Le confort est complet (stationnement sécurisé, local vélos, salle de jeux, petit jardin pour manger dehors, cuisine super équipée (présence sel, poivre, huile d'olive, café, thé, tisane, ....), salle de bain équipée avec gel douche, savon.. L'accueil a été super sympathique. L'environnement est très calme. Une boulangerie est située à 50 mètres. Une excellente adresse. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Rien à redire.
