Charming country house in forest 20 minutes west of Blois. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed and one with two single beds, extra sofa bed, central dining area with table for 6, wonderful fully-equipped kitchen with large refrigerator, bathroom with shower, spacious wrap-around terrace with grill, great WiFi and cable TV, and onsite parking directly in front of house steps. Extremely friendly hosts, easy communication and lovely area recommendations. All in all, a beautiful as well as convenient location for visiting the world-famous Loire and Cher castles combined with the peace and quiet of the French countryside!!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La maison est petite mais très bien équipée et confortable, bien au frais une grande partie de la journée (en plein mois d'août) dans un cadre est verdoyant et calme. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

On arrival we found an awful musty/unclean smell throughout property, kitchen not cleaned and crawling with ants. Fridge had a nasty smell, we spent first evening cleaning whole kitchen to make it habitable. Toilet is in a broom cupboard and very smelly. Whole property is dark and miserable, not somewhere I would choose to spend my holiday. There are no wardrobes, nor anywhere else to hang clothes. No curtains either. Vrbo describe this place as “Exceptional “, it’s not even Acceptable and should never be on Vrbo offer list. If we had not already paid a lot of money for this rental we would not have stayed.

A little bit Swiss

Lovely property in a quiet area, with very good views. Loads of outdoor space so you could catch the sun anytime. Ideally situated for visiting chateaux (if you are French) . We visited Chateau de Clos where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final years, well worth a visit from a technical aspect, although not the most picturesque of chateau. There was much information about places to visit The property was very well equipped and all the appliances worked ( didn’t try the oven though) Shower room was clean but would maybe benefit from a makeover. Vincent and Francois were very good hosts

Der kleine Ort ist sehr schön und idyllisch. Nahe am Wald, Natur pur. Einfach super zum entspannen. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und liegt absolut ruhig und für Besichtungstouren recht zentral.

Pavillon propre, agréable, cadre verdoyant, belle terrasse, cuisine tout équipée, nous avons pu faire des balades à vélo directement depuis le gîte, découvrir une jolie région, en rejoignant "la Loire à vélo ".Bon restaurant aussi dans le village.

Preciosa casa en un entorno idílico

Pasamos 3 días en la casa. Está ubicada en medio del bosque pero a pie de una carretera local poco transitada. No hay ruidos que molesten. La estancia fue cómoda y agradable. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días y la ubicación es muy buena para visitar los principales atractivos turísticos del valle del Loira.

Belle location dans un étage bien réaménagé et fonctionnel d'une ancienne maison. Tranquillité assurée pour une petite famille. Proche de Blois et de très beaux sites touristiques en bord de Loire et ailleurs. Propriétaire accueillant et bienveillant. Nous recommandons.

Logement fonctionnel dans la forêt

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette maison. Elle était propre, bien équipée et les lits étaient fait à l’arrivée ce qui est très agréable. Les serviettes étaient également disponibles. Les propriétaires sont charmants et habitent la maison voisine. L’emplacement permet de visiter les châteaux de Loire assez facilement après un peu de route.
