Architect-designed family chalet - superb view of Mont Joly - 2 km from the slopes

Large independent chalet with character, with a large terrace with a superb view of Mont Joly.

It is ideally located less than 2 km from the ski slopes and 500 meters from the village center (5 minutes on foot). You will find everything you need for your stay (mini-markets, ski equipment rentals, souvenirs, tourist office, post office, bank, and of course many restaurants and bars).

The main room consists of 2 cozy sofas, oriented towards the fireplace.
Large bay windows make up the living room, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view (Trees, trees, village of Contamines-Montjoie and Mont Joly).
The open kitchen is below the living room, with its dining table next to it, which allows you to separate the living spaces, while being together. A mezzanine overlooks the living room, it is made up of a BZ sofa facing a television.
On the recess of the mezzanine a small play area / library will be perfect for entertaining the children.

The chalet is designed to accommodate 9 people, (+ baby (ies)), with its 3 independent bedrooms and its master suite, 2 bathrooms, 1 shower room and 2 separate toilets.

Lovely chalet in a lovely environment

I stayed here with my family and my parents. We came in Les Contamines for relaxing and hiking, and we were not disappointed! The Chalet was perfect for us, clean and cosy with a great terrace offering a wonderful view of Mont Joly.

Sensational Alps summer

Family holiday with teenagers. Lovely chalet and in a peaceful and relaxed area without the busyness / fuss of larger resorts. Contamines is a fantastic alpine village, great local shops amenities provide all you need and was a perfect location for hiking, cycling etc. from the door.

6 beautiful days of skiing

We spent 6 very nice days in the chalet.Even though it is a bit older, it is well equipped and we didn't miss anything.The entrance area, which is also used as a ski room, is a bit small, but with a little organization that wasn't a problem.We really liked the open fireplace.

Well located attratctive and roomy chalet.

Large chalet with a decent size living room, dining room and terrace. 2 toilets (3 would have been better) and 3 bathrooms. Attractive architecture, well built and well maintained, close to the nice village. We had a group of 6 and that was idea. More than 8 might be a challenge. No garden, unfortunately. Parking for 2-3 cars in secure and quiet area. Noise isolation between top and bottom floor/level is rather poor: you can hear everybody move, walk and talk upstairs. Fire place is great! Works very well. Contact with owners is very good and efficient; they are very nice people and they solved an issue with the door lock immediately, I’m inpressed! Very nice location and overall it is a great place. We would recommend staying here.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem schönen Ferienhaus sehr genossen, die Ausstattung und die Zimmer waren super, in der Küche gibt es ausreichend große Töpfe und Schüsseln für 8 Personen, dies hat es uns leicht gemacht zuhause zu kochen und zu essen. Sehr angenehm war auch dass mehrere Zimmer ein Waschbecken haben. Der Blick ist wunderschön und unverbaut und der Kontakt zu der Verwaltung ist sehr unkompliziert und nett, wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank! We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful holiday home. The amenities and rooms were excellent, The kitchen with sufficiently large pots and bowls for 8 people, make it easy for us to cook and eat at home. It was also very pleasant that several rooms had a sink. The view is beautiful and unobstructed, and the communication with the management is very straightforward and friendly. We would love to come back! Thank you very much!

Bel endroit au calme, avec acces rapide aux commerces, navettes et departs randonnées.

Les Contamines est un village riche d activités diverses et accessibles pour tous les âges.( ski, randonnées, tourisme) Le chalet de part sa situation et sa taille a permis à tous les membres de notre grande famille de profiter pleinement de ces nombreux atouts. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber immer noch sehr schön

Lage und das Chalet sind absolut einzigartig! Am Dorfrand mit einem tollen Blick von oben in das Dorf. Man sieht, dass das Chalet einmal eine gehobene Ferienwohnung war, leider wird an kleinen aber durchus notwendigen Verschönerungen und Sanierungen gespart: Matrazen sind durchgelegen, im unteren Bad kam nur Rostwasser aus der Leitung, sehr viele defekte Glühbirnen. Mit etwas Liebe wird es wieder bezaubernd, der Kontakt vor Ort war sehr nett. Insgesamt können wir das Chalet empfehlen, es mangelt auch nicht an Sonderausstattungen wie Raclette und Fondue. Unser Tipp: LEDs oder Glühbirnen einpacken :-)

Location Noël 2021 !

Chalet très agréable et très bien situé au coeur du bourg et à proximité des pistes de ski (grand domaine skiable), bien agencé, même si nous avons trouvé le coin cuisine/repas un peu petit. Vue magnifique sur la montagne ! Très bons échanges lors des divers contacts et grande gentillesse de Marie et Catherine. Nous conseillons vivement cette location.

Charmante familiewoning in een rustig dorp in de bergen.

Ruime familiewoning op wandelafstand van het dorp. Veel mogelijkheden voor het ganse gezin. Warme ontvangst door de eigenaars die steeds bereikbaar zijn en waarvoor geen vraag teveel is.
