Coblers Cottage is simply brilliant, a small property with some history thrown in. Free parking is a huge plus and the location at the top of the hill is perfect. We will certainly be back!
Great, well equipped. Warm and cosy. Excellent access to Cleveland Way. Can recommend Cod&Lobster, Fox&Hounds for some good pub food.

Coble cottage was a little gem.
Coble cottage was a little gem. It was quaint & very comfortable & cosy & a really good repurposing of World War 1 army barracks. Sarah was very helpful & friendly when I phoned her to get info about the key. She said if we had any queries or issues regarding the cottage to contact her straight away. It had all the amenities & the beds were so comfortable. We would definitely recommend it

We stayed in Coble Cottage in October with our dog.
We stayed in Coble Cottage in October with our dog. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, we liked the lovely touches of flowers, milk, biscuits and even dog treats waiting for us. We weren't sure which car park we we're supposed to use on arrival and Sarah was on hand to help and throughout our stay. The cottage is well positioned for Staithes but being at the top of the village, it's a steep walk back which we didn't mind, but if you don't like hills don't visit Staithes! We would definitely recommend and we hope to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coble cottage.
We really enjoyed our stay at Coble cottage.
The WW2 barracks accomodation has been very well renovated to provide
a very cosy holiday cottage.
There was a lovely bunch of flowers and a very welcoming packet of oreo biscuits
waiting for us as we arrived.
The cottage is perfectly situated for Staithes Harbour, being just a short walk down
various different paths that we found, and not too far away is Whitby and Scarborough.

Lovely little cottage perfectly situated for long coastal walks.
Lovely little cottage perfectly situated for long coastal walks. This cottage is twin bedded rather than a double which might not suit some. Watch out for the hot water, way too hot!

A great place to stay, bearing in mind they are converted WW1 barracks.
A great place to stay, bearing in mind they are converted WW1 barracks. Coble is a warm cosy cottage, with everything that you could need. It is far enough off the beaten path, but close enough to everything for you to enjoy your stay in Staithes. Would, and have recommended Coble to friends already.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay. We were made very welcome and were comfortable and happy in this self-catering accommodation. We felt confident in the anti-covid measures taken. The cottage has easy access to cliff-top walks - dreamed of all through lockdown-down.
