We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 small dogs and had a lovely time. The cottage is perfect size for 2 people and has what you need. Rumburgh is a good base to explore Suffolk and is a friendly village with a great pub that serves food.
We loved everything about this place. Comfortable and warm, perfect location and everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful host.
We will definitely be back.

This was a lovely cottage to stay in, with original features and a very comfortable bed.
This was a lovely cottage to stay in, with original features and a very comfortable bed. We had a super welcome basket left for us, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The Amenities question was scored lower because there are no shops as such nearby, but we chose the cottage specifically because of its distance from a town. The local pub is a short walk away and was very welcoming.

Only amenity in village is the pub, 10 minutes walk away.
Only amenity in village is the pub, 10 minutes walk away. Halesworth is 10 minutes away by car and has a wide range of shops and is a nice little town. Cottage is very quiet, the owners are next door and very welcoming and obliging. A very nice touch was the fresh bread, milk, wine and ice cream in the welcome pack.
We would recommend it for a quiet and restful stay.

Lovely cottage and a very peaceful location.
Lovely cottage and a very peaceful location. There are no shops (but not far to Halesworth). There is a local pub which had good food and was very friendly. The owner gave us a freshly baked loaf, milk and homemade cakes plus a bottle of wine which were much appreciated.

We were extremely comfortable at Wheelwrights Cottage.
We were extremely comfortable at Wheelwrights Cottage. Kathryn and Stuart are excellent hosts and were very helpful and always contactable. But although they live next door to the cottage they are not intrusive. The village has a really good pub which offers home cooked food, and is very welcoming. There are many walks surrounding the cottage, and the coast and the broads are easily accessible. We would definitely recommend for a very relaxing holiday.

Very nice warm comfortable cottage with everything we needed for our holiday.
Very nice warm comfortable cottage with everything we needed for our holiday. Pub in village excellent and good walking from the cottage. Just a note that directions need amending as cottage is considerably further from the village crossroads than on the website and was difficult to find in the dark.
