Fantastic apartment in a modern block on the sea front, no.

Fantastic apartment in a modern block on the sea front, no. 10 is at the very top with a lot of stairs but to be fair if you aren’t able to do steps Filey is probably not for you as the town is basically built on two levels - sea front and headland and to get between the two levels you need to be willing to do steps or steep hills. We enjoyed the open plan living area/kitchen, the bathroom and kitchen are well appointed and the bedroom is simple but comfortable. Dog friendly as is most of Filey. We actually had an issue as the lock broke and our hosts were excellent at arranging the repair and keeping us informed. Parking is free along the road outside but be prepared to struggle in high season (we were massively lucky and got a spot directly outside and then didn’t use the car till we left for home so not an issue for us).The apartment had a handy rear entrance which opened up to one of the many staircases up to the main town, this leads directly into the park where you will find craft fairs on weekends and Angela’s tea rooms which are defo worth a visit as they do fresh baked goods and crab sandwiches to die for.Keighleys is a fab friendly cafe (dog friendly) with great. Full English breakfasts and the cobblers arms is also worth a visit for craft beers and good crack with locals and other holidaymakers.I would return to Filey and would defo stay in apartment 10 again!

Best apartment we’ve stayed in.

Best apartment we’ve stayed in. Location central to everything, rooms very modern and nicely decorated. The views from the living room and bedroom are amazing, can even see Flamborough lighthouse on a night. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Absolutely loved staying in this apartment, even the 50 steps up to it, although if coming down the steps from crescent garden and using the rear door you can avoid one flight. The views are amazing, the facilities excellent, I can imagine parking could be a problem although we were extremely lucky enough to pull up just as a car was leaving so we parked up and left our car there all week, lots of lovely walks, lovely cafes really enjoyed and if you are lucky enough to catch the sunrise it's just amazing.

Apt 10 was great the sea views were brilliant the location was excellent the only problem was parking. Once you left your parking spot it was difficult to get back. Could have done with a few more dishwasher tablets as there were only 3.
