Amazing little find.
Amazing little find. Cute 2 bed 2 bath mini cottage located on a working farm.Perfect for our family stay as we wanted to be away from noise but close enough to the towns of Rochester / Gravesend (both no more than 20 mins drive.) for family and friends. The place was spotless upon arrival. Great communication with Mrs Hyatt the owner and really just felt comfortable there after long days visiting friends and family and even a trip to London.Mrs Hyatt even encouraged us to walk the farm to see the horses donkeys and the duck pond which our kids thoroughly enjoyed.Such a perfect base for us to explore Kent and know we could come back to a quiet secluded place of our own.Kids loved the space. Inside and out.We even had time to do our washing and had a couple of meals in the small but perfectly stocked kitchen. Will 100% be staying here again on my next visit back to the UK. One other thing. If staying here please take the 10 min drive to The Horseshoe and Castle in Cooling and have dinner there. Possibly the BEST meal of my entire life. I promise you won’t be disappointed

Spacious and comfortable.
Spacious and comfortable. Well located for birdwatching sites, local castles and the Chatham dockyard. Really warm and cosy, despite the gaps in the French doors. Owners welcoming and informative.
Minor changes needed: some microwave cookware, dishwasher paddles checked for blockages (items weren’t rinsing well).
We’d use this cottage again.
