A lovely holiday to celebrate my birthday. In superb accommodation and pretty and spacious gardens. The swimming pool was a major success with our three grand daughters Location wise Southwold, Aldeburgh Dunwich and Parham Airfield museum were in easy reach
Cravens Manor was the perfect location for family and friends to gather for fun, games, and reminiscing. Even the 24 hour power cut didn't dampen the fun.
Helpful owner. Great time. Thank you!

We had a wonderful week in August at this beautiful house.
We had a wonderful week in August at this beautiful house. The gardens were very well kept and even include a wild flower meadow.Plenty of space to play cricket, badminton, and football. The swimming pool was enjoyed by us all and was at a comfortable temperature. The house is very spacious. The master bedroom is huge, and the dinning room had a large dining table perfect for our family. The only thing we thought would be nice were some more sun loungers. There were 2 steamer chairs which we really liked. There were other smaller loungers but not that comfy.

We loved the house and large private gardens.
We loved the house and large private gardens. The heated pool was wonderful, even possible to use when the weather was not so good. We used the fireplace in the evenings when it got chilly. The tennis court is not in great shape but good enough for hitting some balls. It’s about 15 min drive to the sea. The large selection of games was a hit too.

Such a beautiful house with wonderful surrounding grounds including tennis court and swimming pool - each bedroom was tastefully decorated in keeping with the general design of this period property - the first floor bedrooms were easily accessible but the second floor rooms reached from the staircase by the kitchen were fine if you do not have walking problems (absolutely fine if you are younger and fitter than our group of 70 year olds) the two huge lounges were very comfortable and welcoming after a long day out sightseeing - the dining room is large as is the kitchen with all modern appliances
All in all I would certainly recommend this property

Far exceeded our expectations, an ideal venue for a family or group get- together.
Far exceeded our expectations, an ideal venue for a family or group get- together. A very nice atmosphere with lots of old world charm there's plenty of space for gathering as a group both inside and out on the patio but also some private areas should the need arise (it certainly didn't during our stay!) The house facilities were excellent, catering for all the families needs for both the very young and not so very young.
The gardens and outside space were ideal for the youngsters to run about and play games and the heated swimming pool was ideal for everyone's entertainment, we were in it everyday.
It's in an ideal location being very private with lots of local attractions nearby, Southwold being just down the road.
The proprietors Hugh and Sue were very helpful and are just a phone call away, if required.
We would highly recommend a stay in this lovely period property.

We loved the pool (enclosed with hedges and gates, which was great because we had an 18 month old grandchild), especially the children, and appreciated all the different 'rooms' outside, for cricket, croquet, tennis, and the wild flower meadow was lovely. Plenty of space indoors and the decor was very tasteful but practical too.

Beautiful house and gardens.
Beautiful house and gardens. Loads of space for us (9) , inside and outside.
Lovely area. We all enjoyed the pool , particularly the 4 grandchildren
We were lucky to have good weather all week with spectacular electric storm on our last night!
If the weather had been bad , I think we would have still enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of books and games to use.
Used the rather run down tennis courts , but as none of us serious tennis players it didn't matter
Plenty of space outside for ball games and lots of butterflies during our July week.
