Lovely home for a couple.
Lovely home for a couple. Well maintained by the owners who are extremely helpful. We were there in early December 2020 and the house was comfortably heated with radiators and a small wood stove. We were always warm throughout our stay. We chose to walk and cycle during our time at the property and enjoyed each day even if the weather was not superb. Knowing we were returning to a cosy, warm cottage made the whole experience the best. Facilities and equipment provided made it easy to make our own meals which is always our preference.

Visiting family and used the cottage for a safe spot to see them. Tiny and compact but we felt ‘safe’ in the current situation. We were warmly greeted by the owners who were very helpful and friendly during our stay. Fishing was advertised but canal was completely overgrown and unfishable.

Lovely cottage, lovely owners, very poor website. Only managed to contact the owners for the key via facebook, despite trying to message the property managers at homeaway and cottages.com.

Just had 4 nights here.
Nice little cottage with all the amenities you need.We didnt use the wood burner as we were out and about all the time and it wasnt cold in the evenings!
The owners very kindly left us a pint of milk and some really nice homemade cake for our arrival, a nice touch, thankyou!
Ideal base for touring the local area(Castle Coombe,Laycock and Bath to name just a few).
If we come back to this neck of the woods,we would certainly book The Brewhouse again.

Lovely location, very quiet, great to wake up with views over fields.
Lovely location, very quiet, great to wake up with views over fields. Only criticism is that the bathroom was a bit too compact, nowhere to put shaving gear. Drainer on sink was a bit rusty, but overall very comfortable.

A lovely cottage set on a friendly farm.
A lovely cottage set on a friendly farm..beautiful views over the fields and hillside....with plenty of footpaths in all directions taking you to the canal and beyond to little villages and hamlets..... Peaceful at night...nice to see the stars and fall asleep listening to owls calling to each other...we woke up to the robins and wrens announcing it was morning. Wifi was excellent and we loved the log burner....better than than the tv! Ideal location for nature lovers and walkers..or a central base for visiting the many interesting NT places and Wiltshire attractions. Although it looked compact on the photos..it was like a tardis and surprisingly bigger than expected.......kitchen was a galley..but very well equipped, we cooked full English every morning with no problems and made fresh scones twice..... We would place this cottage in our top 5 cottages to revisit!
