What a beautiful cottage & location.
What a beautiful cottage & location. We only managed to stay 2 nights out of a possible 7 due to the 2nd lockdown so are looking forward to booking again. The village is approx half a mile away, 2 pubs, Chinese takeaway, chip shop, butchers & small local shop. Trevor the site manager is very friendly although we had no cause to contact him. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, the garden secure for dogs & the hot tub absolutely amazing, just wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay in Beacon Cottage.
We had a wonderful stay in Beacon Cottage.
We had two dogs, one elderly so opted for this cottage as no stairs.
It was lovely inside, very clean, everything utensil wise you could need. Fresh towels and bedding were amazing.
The hot tub was beautiful, warm secluded and didn’t wan to get out.
Another reason we chose this cottage was for the enclosed garden for the dogs. It was perfect. We could let them out in a morning and they were safe running around no chance of escaping and having their own venture.
The only slight niggle I had was the bed wasn’t as comfy as I would have liked so mentioned it to the staff and they would look at replacing it. So all good there.
Wainfleet is a small village, but if you like ur Ales, the brewery is a 5 minute walk away. The village has amenities so no worries if you forget anything.
The east coast is a short drive away with lots to offer.
I will be returning here definitely. A little gem and so quiet and peaceful to have a holiday to unwind.

What an amazing cottage! Absolutely beautiful place, with the luxuries of a private hot tub, underfloor heating, brilliant WiFi and Netflix/Smart TV (kids were very happy!) Great location with a lovely Riverside walk in one direction and a 5 minute walk to the shop/pubs in town the other direction. Couldn't fault our stay at all!

Beacon cottage is beautiful, it very light and airy.
Beacon cottage is beautiful, it very light and airy. The rooms are decorated nicely and the beds are very comfortable with the exception of the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable but we managed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outside space consisted of 3 areas, the courtyard outside the back door which then led into an area with hot tub which was very private which then led on to another grass area all fenced so no worries of the dog getting out. The cottage is in lovely grounds and the village had everything we needed. 10 minutes from Skegness. We will be booking to go back.

Lovely cottage which is nicely decorated, great shower and tiled bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would return.
The village is quiet with bus and rail links and only 5 minutes to the Skegness by car. The surrounding countryside is just beautiful.

Our second stay at Beacon Cottage.
Our second stay at Beacon Cottage. Very dog friendly. Garden is large and enclosed. It is ideal for anyone who is not able bodied as it's all on one level. Very comfortable with underfloor heating. Village not far with a co-op. Bateman brewery for tours and near Skegness with all the amenities there. Beacon Cottage was clean and cosy. And the private Hot Tub was Fantastic

We stayed for a week.
We stayed for a week. The cottage was tidy and spacious.there were a couple of negatives which we mentioned to the manager regards to some items that needed repairing and there was a funny smell in the master bedroom that we noticed was also in the wash room in the next building . Also the beams especially in the twin bedroom needed dusting. The cottage had all equipment for adults to use in the kitchen but lacked equipment for children ie plates and cups. Would have been better having plastic for the children instead of the pot ones and glasses. The shower was excellent very powerful. Beds were comfortable and enough storage for clothes. Great hot tub outside although there was a gate to stop the children entering the are the garden for them to run around was not gated from the hot tub so couldn't let them play in the grassy area on there own.had our own parkinging and overall the cottage was private. Wainfleet itself was a little disappointing ad most of the shops were boarded up but great place if you want to walk along the river. Great location to alot of nice villages that are about 30- 40 min drive away. Overall we had a lovely week exploring Lincolnshire.
