Carefully converted and thoughtfully planned throughout, the interiors offer an ideal combination – old beams for character, multi-fuel stoves for cosiness and modern fittings for convenience. Within its acres of rural grounds are ruins of its 13th-century long house, set beside ponds, (toddlers beware), an ideal setting for adults to relax while supervising youngsters as they explore the pond life.
The spacious, cottage-style kitchen/dining room is perfect for whipping up a feast, and gathering together, at the end of a day exploring the grounds and local area. A large beamed living room with multi-fuel stove is perfect for cosying up with a film - don’t forget the popcorn! Upstairs you’ll find the double bedroom and twin bedroom, both with comfy beds and beams, you’ll have no trouble getting a good nights sleep in these calming rooms. A family bathroom with sloping ceiling completes the first floor.
There is a riverside pub with children’s play area within a 5-minute car journey. The setting is perfect for making the most of both coast and countryside – sufficiently inland to avoid sea mists, yet convenient for the sandy coves of Cardigan Bay and the superb scenery of the Preseli Mountains and Pembrokeshire National Park. Teifi Valley and Gwili steam railways, the National Wool Museum at Dre-Fach Felindre and Coracles Health and Country Club all make for a fantastic day out. Cardigan, home to its castle and Wales’ biggest cultural festival, the Eisteddfod, and Carmarthen (both about half an hour by car) sport excellent golf courses. Pony-trekking, fly fishing on the River Teifi and the Coracle Centre at Cenarth Falls (famous for its seasonal salmon leap) can all be found within 10 minutes’ drive. And a real taste of Wales is available virtually on the doorstep; the neighbouring farm makes delicious traditional world-famous Caws Cenarth cheese. This tranquil rural location is only 3 miles from delightful Newcastle Emlyn, with its good choice of shops, inns, award-winning restaurants and two delicatessens. This is an interesting town to explore, with a ruined castle, craft and antique shops and a leisure centre with swimming-pool. Shops 3 miles.
Lletty Cottage can be booked together with Cych Cottage (JUM) to accommodate up to 8 guests.

Very comfortable accommodation, very warm welcome, just a little too remote, and you need to be used to driving down narrow, twisty lanes with grass growing in the middle. I loved them, but my wife hated them!

Beautiful cottage, very homely and comfortable. A little off the beaten track but plenty of shops and pubs in the local town. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stunning location, lovely cottage all very clean and comfortable and great water pressure in the shower! But would have appreciated a few more kitchen basics (salt and pepper, cooking oil, washing powder). Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a most enjoyable stay in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside.
We had a most enjoyable stay in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside. It was easy to drive to the beaches and the younger members of the family enjoyed the nearby railway. The cottage was well prepared for our arrival and was spotless. The gardens were most attractive and there were extensive grounds in which the young ones could run around and let off steam. We shall be back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
