Fantastic cottage, clean, has everything needed, great condition, homely and quiet.
A good location for short trips around this part of Wales or simply to relax in a very comfortable cottage.

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning location, not far from lovely coastline.
We stayed for a few days in the Parlour which is a lovely base to explore Pembrokeshire from. The Parlour is well equipped and beautifully homely after a long day walking or exploring the area. The local cheese farm is a must visit, the cheese is amazing.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of Wales
A very comfortable and spacious cottage with friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable lounge and bedroom and a well-equipped and spacious kitchen. There were so many places nearby to visit -towns, castles, beaches and a tiny railway (the Teifi Valley Railway). We had a lovely time.

Wonderful Hideaway
Met by the lovely owner and shown around the property. It was better than the photos and so cozy and a true hideaway.
Everything you need is in the accommodation and if you are looking for a complete turn off from the world this is the place.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of Wales
We have stayed here twice now and will undoubtedly come back. The cottage is well equipped and furnished and very comfortable and the location is great. Kate and Martin very welcoming and friendly. Even with all the local attractions closed for lockdown there were places to walk and lovely views and we were also happy to relax and just enjoy the peace.

Perfect for us
Had a wonderful, restful stay in glorious location. The cottage was immaculate, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We stayed in The Parlour and were surprised at how spacious it was. As the weather was so beautiful we took full advantage of the outside space, even used the sun loungers one lazy afternoon!

Very peaceful, lovely accommodation, great base for exploring local areas of interest.
Owners kind and friendly, lovely welcome pack of homemade bread, cakes etc. Very tranquil. A lot of thought and care had obviously gone into the design and layout of the cottage, very clean and well organised. Very private but Kate and Martin on hand if you needed anything. Perfect base to see the areas of local interest and only a short drive to the coast.

One of our favourite places in the world
3 nights in unfathomable peace and quiet. So good for the soul. Everything you could ever need for a break away in wales. The most perfect accommodating hosts and the welcoming of our three dogs which is very hard to find. Book here and you will not regret it! Just don’t book when I want to come ;)

Fabulous stay...highly recommend!!
We stayed in The Parlour for a new years break as we wanted a quiet & cosy new years eve, away from all the hustle and bustle.
The cottage was absolutely fabulous. Beautifully decorated, all the facilities you could need and amazing hosts who made us lovely homemade bread and even left us eggs, cake & mince pies!
It is in the middle of the countryside but Cardigan is only a 10 minute drive if you really feel like you need to visit a town. The location is great and has amazing views.

Loved my stay at The Parlour
The Parlour is such a lovely little place, very comfortable and attractive, and perfect for visiting the local area or for just resting and hanging around. I did a bit of both. The setting is gorgeous and there is a walking path you can take from there for some local fresh air. I can't thank Martin enough for dealing with my car oil crisis when I arrived, too!

Peaceful, beautifully equipped.
Away from our usual surroundings - just lovely silence only interrupted by birdsong. We wanted a proper kitchen and bathroom, the dog to have good walks, warmth (the weather was awful) and seclusion. The design and furnishing were just so excellent for us, with lots of local information provided, including places to eat and walks to go on. Hosts live in the house next door, very welcoming and made it clear that they were on call if we had any problems. Books, vids, and a wealth of magazines.
Very pleasant cottage on a rural property that, to be honest, is looking a bit tired and cluttered. Wifi is only available if you walk 30m and stand outside the owner's home - very inconvenient, especially if it is raining! The owner's interface with the booking app seems to be broken as emails returned unviewed and payment requests were poorly coordinated ( which was not the owner's fault ). The owners live on-site and were very friendly.
Property was clean, room way too hot, no fan provided, not enough signage to the property, and neighbour extremely rude ( not the owners fault, but more signs could prevent this) dead crow hanging from telephone line, property smelt funny ( can’t explain it) , constant drilling noise (could have been a generator???) all night, we came away to relax and sleep, sadly were unable to do either, the property was tired and could do with some improvements, plaster was falling off the walls, we had to buy a fan for the second night, but still didn’t manage to sleep, sadly we wouldn’t stay again and wouldn’t recommend to friends.
What a lovely peaceful place, very spacious accomodation for one or two people and everything you need for a base to explore West Wales - or just hang around, as I did for a couple of my days! Internet is limited which isn't a bad thing. The location is perfect and Kate and Martin were the perfect hosts - Martin was a tremendous help when my car turned out to be out of oil too! I hope to come again.

About the host
Hosted by Host
Martin and I are very happy to be able to welcome guests back to Wernddofn Cottages after the Covid lockdown. The cottages offer a wonderful opportunity to escape the everyday and surrounded by beautiful countryside, social distancing is not only effortless, but extremely pleasurable. To ensure the safety of all our guests we are implementing a policy whereby each cottage is left vacant for a minimum of three days before and after each booking. Unfortunately this does mean that during this time we are unable to accept bookings of less than five nights for the Dairy, and three for each of the other cottages, unless by special arrangement. If you do have any special requests please ring and we are more than happy to discuss them with you.
