Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath, Toilet. Gas central heating (£20 per week, £10 per short break Oct-Apr), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area, BBQ and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Nestling in a tranquil location on the Devon/Dorset border, this well-presented single-storey barn conversion is set within the 40 acres of the owner’s home, which was the setting for The French Lieutenant’s Woman. It lies ½ mile from the popular medieval port of Lyme Regis with picturesque harbour known as the Cobb. Wonderful scenic walking abounds, with the South West Coastal Path just 500 yards away. Shop and pub ½ mile.

Wood burning stove - 1 basket of logs, firelighters and kinddling supplied. Further stocks can be purchased from local garage or supermarket.

Fabulous cottage, warm and inviting. One minor thing, it needed some better knives ( they had been dishwashed too often so were blunt and the handles loose. ) Location perfect for exploring bits of Devon we hadn't been to before. Close to Lyme Regis town, walkable.. just! Good selection of shops, pubs and cafes. Hosts very helpful and close by if anything waas needed.

Warm, comfy and cosy

A lovely spacious cottage in a quiet location but handy for Lyme Regis. About a mile’s walk on the coast path, less by road. An energetic climb back up! Well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space, same in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Colin was very helpful and welcoming. We had a lovely relaxing stay.

What a beautiful cottage and a lovely stay.

What a beautiful cottage and a lovely stay. Everything you could ask for is here with a well stocked kitchen, lovely living area, log burner, smart TV, wifi and incredibly pet friendly with an enclosed garden and driveway.We were welcomed shortly after christmas with milk and prosecco stocked in the fridge. It was a good 15-20 min walk downhill to Lyme Regis and about 30 mins coming back up so plenty of walking to be had. There were footpaths off the country lane for cutting across to the beach and lots of dog walking options. It was a great location to explore Dorset and East Devon and I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable. Need a car or a good torch to reach local pub in the evening. Also was asked for £15 fuel charge on arrival (not including log fire) which was a little surprising but heating was kept on all day and night which was needed.

We had a great holiday.

We had a great holiday. Location is brilliant and loved seeing the local wildlife. The Cottage was cosy and comfortable with a log burner which made for cosy nights in November. The bath is absolutely huge. One of the twin beds was uncomfortable. Kitchen had everything you would ever need. The wine and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. We ate at the places reccomended by the caretaker and were not disappointed. We would stay at this cottage again.

The property was in a beautiful location. It was well equipped and comfortable. Lyme Regis is a great location with real charm. From here you can travel to other locations easily.The caretakers are very knowledgable and on hand to give advice if needed. Our first visit to this cottage and will certainly return to it when we visit the area.

A wonderful holiday in a beautiful cottage. Perfect for two adults and a child. Great location - walkable to the beach and town although a good hill on the way back! Easy access to the SW coastal path and to the town and other lovely villages and towns too. Garden more hilly than we were expecting which meant no ball games but we played different games instead. Quiet and comfy. Thank you!

Our 12th holiday here. Absolutely love it. The setting/location-just perfect. Being critical...the sofas could do with updating but otherwise, no complaints. As we know the area so well, we don't really need advice on where to go/eat, but as always...catching up with Colin and Jan is like visiting old friends. They do a great job. Holiday number 13 next year 'lucky for some!
