We came in to celebrate a friend’s bday (from Philadelphia and Cleveland). Our friend lives in Vallejo so it was very convenient and a good “home base” to do some exploring (Napa and San Fran via the ferry). The house itself was clean, very well stocked with everything you could need, and thoughtful touches. Will let friends know about the place if they are visiting Northern CA!
We had a wonderful time at this lovely home. The view was spectacular and the home was extremely comfortable. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.
Four friends gathered as we have done at least yearly for over 60 years. The outside spaces were wonderful for meals, and the back deck was magical for sipping while watching the sunsets and enjoying the bay area ambiance. All the beds were comfortable, cuddly robes, plenty of pots and pans and cooking accoutrements. Dina was welcoming, responsive and helpful. Great Bay Area location, quick drive to Vallejo Ferry, the waterfront and easy access to wider possibilities. Safe and welcoming neighborhood for walks. It was a delightful stay.
The house is well equipped with everything you could need. The side garden was really cute and our kids enjoyed the play area. The back deck is spectacular.
We’ve never been to San Francisco before. The oldest daughter moved to Vallejo last October, so we had started to plan on a visit/vacation. That way we could all be together. Ride our first ferry boat, cable car, and trolley. The city is amazing! We walked thru Chinatown, did the Alcatraz tour, I highly recommend that! Pier 39 with the sea lions! Golden Gate Park was really cool! And getting to see Bison for the first time ever! We did a wine tasting in the Suisun valley, very cool! And spent the day in Vallejo and visited the Benicia waterfront.
Our house was Amazing! The balcony has the perfect view of the inlet, got to see lots of ships coming and going. The bridge, can’t remember the name, was really cool!
We really enjoyed our stay so much. Dina is a pleasure to communicate with, and the house was comfortable and clean. It is also close to everything that we wanted to do. We visited Six Flags and took the ferry into San Francisco. The weather was gorgeous. We didn't spend a lot of time on the beautiful deck because it was very windy in the evenings, but the view is spectacular. You will not be disappointed.
comfy beds, robes provided, treats, plenty of dishes, silverware for guests, lovely view from large deck with plenty of seating, lots of bathroom products available, nice neighborhood, many plants and greenery, double driveway - highly recommend the rental
The location was perfect for us. We were in town to help friends who live nearby, but one of our party took the ferry over to San Francisco, and it was an easy drop-off. It was also close to downtown Benicia for some great restaurants.
We had everything we needed to make our breakfasts.
But, the view! The view! We slept with the curtains open.
Dina's home had everything we needed from a comfy bed to fully stocked kitchen, including some unexpected extras. The drip and espresso coffee machines along with the coffee bean grinder were nice touches. We also made use of the frosty mugs tucked away in the freezer. The deck is lovely during the day for lunch in the sunshine and and in the evening for amazing sunsets overlooking the bay and Carquinez Strait. There is also a firepit which we didn't use as it was too cold to sit out at night. Neighborhood was very quiet, a great place to walk and convenient to the highways. Safeway is close by, as well as, Benecia for restaurants.
Beautiful little house. Very comfortable beds. View was amazing. Firepit was so nice because it was cold at night. Firepit was very quirky and annoying to turn on but I was able to do it. It's kind of a thing with certain fire pits. Lots of dishes and pots and stuff for the kitchen. Wonderful experience. Will definitely book here again because in-laws live in the next city when we go to see them.
We decided to stay in Vallejo to be close to Berkeley and the Napa region. This property did not disappoint. When we traveled, it was always opposite the commuters, so traffic was very reasonable. It was a bit of a trek to Napa, but they were great drives, allowing us to visit places we haven't been to. Super convenient to groceries and restaurants. Lastly, the property itself was great. We used many of the amenities like the grill, fire pit, espresso machine, and many other great appointments. I would highly recommend.
The view does in fact match the photos. That deck looking out of the strait is a great centerpiece. The rest of the property is as described as well. HGTV snobs will say it needs updating, but the beds are comfortable, the couch is great, and the AC works. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and tools (and now a pizza cutter, because we couldn't take it back on the plane). Communication is great with owner.
If you are planning to rent or bring an electric car: as of 7/2023, Vallejo seems to be in what is the only charging desert in the bay area. All of the closest chargers are across a toll bridge. It didn't help that most of the sites nearby were throttled as well due to upgrades. But this has nothing to do with the house, which is great and in a very quiet, safe-feeling neighborhood. Thanks!
Comfortable home with more than adequate amenities, spectacular view,. beautiful gardens. wish I could have stayed longer. on a scale of 1 to 10 this comfey home was an 11
The property was perfect for 6 adults. We loved sitting on the deck, firing up the firepit, and enjoying evening drinks and morning breakfast. I messaged Dina about a cooler and picnic basket. She responded immediately. She had all picnic necessities easily accessed in the garage. We loved our stay in Vallejo!
