The home is in a beautiful setting, fully stocked with all the essentials needed for cooking and enjoying the garden courtyard. The host communicated quickly and was very helpful. We absolutely loved our time at this property and will return!

This place is amazing, securely located in the rear of a gated yard, the property is a quiet oasis perfectly situated in beautiful Berkeley. Plenty of room for our family of four. The courtyard is a wonderful amenity, with numerous options for enjoying the mild Bay Area climate. The hosts were super communicative and made checking in and out easy.

This house was great. Quaint and accommodating with a beautiful courtyard that was fantastic for sitting out on sunny days. Host, Dugger, was great. He was communicative and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The positive reviews about the property and host are correct. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental.We write from the perspective of a person with mobility issues (my mom in her 90s who uses a walker). As this is one of few available vacation rentals in the area that can accomodate a person with mobility issues, we felt it would be helpful to others to relate our experience.This was the ONLY property we found that offered what we needed:- entry with a minimum number of stairs- at least 1 bedroom/bath & kitchen on ground levelWe appreciate that Dugger includes accessibility info in his rental description (including height of the entryway steps), which few hosts bother to do.The first step into the entry vestibule was a bit steep for my mom, and there's no handrail; only her walker on the next level for support. We solved this by placing a piece of lumber (3x10?) as a temporary intermediate step. The step from the vestibule into the house is much lower and was manageable.The bathroom was our other area to address. To solve the bathtub, we placed a tub transfer bench for safe access. There is a removable handheld showerhead which should be lowered before the person bathes. For the toilet, we placed a bedside commode with side armrests, to enable easier rising. While there is one assistance rail in the tub/shower, it may or may not be of use to you.We enjoyed our stay. While not designed for accessibility, we were able to make this lovely house work for us.

Charming home in great location

Responsive hosts, convenient location, very clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Nice garden to sit in. Only one step up to get inside and no steps inside which was important for my elderly relative. (Just note for less mobile folks the shower is in a full tub so they may need help to navigate).

Perfect Bay Area Oasis

Clean, spacious home with really nice outdoor patio space, in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to several cute breakfast stops and close to Bart and grocery store options. This was the perfect place for my family’s five-night stay in the Bay Area to use as a quiet home base while being able to get to San Francisco and other areas easily. Hosts are very communicative and helpful. We loved everything about this property and our stay! Highly recommend.
