Having been let down by another property, we found the Seascape as a last moment alternative and we were so glad we did. The whole process of booking and the communication we received from the Owner of the property was excellent; we were even provided with a Welcome Pack which provided personalised recommendations for local attractions, places to eat, directions and even the best shops for specifics like fuel for the stove. The process was made easy and filled us with confidence that everything was in hand and we would not be let down a second time. Everything had been thought out and dealt with in a professional but friendly and welcoming manner.
The property was exquisite, well maintained, clean and fully equipped with the added personal touch of a welcome gift when we arrived. The views from the floor to ceiling windows were out of this world. We would have been equally happy to remain in the property for the duration as we were going out and about visiting the local attractions.
We have enjoyed the property, the local area and have built up a real friendship with the proprietors over the short period of our stay and have every intention of returning for another break next year.

It was great for a remote get away.
It was great for a remote get away. There are not very many shops nearby. It was a lovely place. The CD player did not work. It was nice and warm. It had a washing machine and dryer and WiFi access which is a must. The cleaner assumed we were from two families and lectured us about this as if she had never come across a family with two vehicles. It was a rush to get out because of the howling gale outside which was not the owners’ fault. The showers do not drain away very well. Ideal place to escape the coronavirus. Lovely walks nearby (inevitably approx an hour to main attractions) there are nice walks from the door to talisker beach and the lighthouse

Nice accommodation.
Nice accommodation. Only two showers in the property (master en-suite and downstairs shared shower/toilet - main bathroom does not have a shower over the bath) not ideal for 8 people sharing.

We had a fantastic experience. The cottage, the view, the hosts, the location, the hikes, people we met there, the Old Inn food, the Talisker Neist Point... everything was perfect.

Kitchen really well-equipped, spotlessly clean, simply stunning views and outlook, feels a little unfair to grade on amenities as not sure you really would go here if you wanted a Co-op round the corner! However, Munro's bar has great food and ambience - in walking distance, and places in Carbost to pick up supplies and coffee - all worked for us as family of 5! Again, bit of a first world problem I feel, but it does need roller blinds in living space - I would love to return in summer but the solar gain is very high so after a day on the mountains, it can feel that you are returning to an uncomfortably hot greenhouse - would be nice to be able to control this during the day when out without blocking out the views - therefore unfortunately will be booking elsewhere for summer, which is a shame! All in all, a fabulous stay!
