An idyllic retreat in glorious restful surroundings.
An idyllic retreat in glorious restful surroundings. The fittings and comfort of the cottage were supreme with lots of space, warmth, a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Sandra's parents were very kind when I sprained my ankle. Some information/ maps suggesting local walks would be helpful but it's a fabulous place in a delightful setting.

We had a great relaxing week here at Laundry Cottage.
We had a great relaxing week here at Laundry Cottage. The cottage is spacious and solidly built and was lovely to come back to after a long walk or drive in the hills. The sofa and armchair were great to relax in. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of hot water when needed. Just have to get used to the water which comes from a spring and is quite peaty but probably great for the skin. We shopped in Fort Augustus for food which was ok but is a fair drive from the cottage so stock up. There is a good size fridge and freezer in the kitchen.

Outstanding place to stay.
Outstanding place to stay. I found the cottage exceptional in every way, well equipped, cosy and comfortable, in a beautiful out of the way setting. The owners have put a lot of thought into setting it up and this really showed. All it lacked was wifi which would have earned it a ten.
